Read moreStopped in for a round of drinks on a week day afternoon. The bartender was nice and gave good service. The space seemed a bit confused as to whether it was a tiki bar, a dive bar, or a sports bar. I get if it's trying to excel at all of those things at once, but we were hoping for a tiki bar. Tropical music, funky ceramic glassware, bombastic garnishes, colorful decor, and most importantly, tasty and well-made cocktails. Definitely didnt find all of those things at the Tiki House. The music was live, which was cool, but it was just the typical singer with a guitar, playing light rock from the 90's. We got the mai tai and the bloody mary, both were off balance and we didn't finish them. Also ordered a faux-jito, hoping they would be using a rum alternative that we saw on another google review pic from two weeks ago, but they seemed to have removed that menu option. The non alcoholic mojito was fine, could have used more sugar. All the drinks were served in the same glass tiki mug. The space had some fun decor, but all the TVs killed the vibe for me. There was a random vintage ms pac man in the main bar room.
Overall, go here for a fun bar full of random stuff. Skip it if you want a tiki bar with a...
Read moreWorst place ever. Take your beverages away before you're done and all your stuff is still on the table and you're standing three feet away. Then tell you they're just doing their job. Seriously? I've never experienced anything like that before in my life. Don't go here. Rudest staff ever. Probably the reason there were only a dozen or so people in there. Waitress scooped up the tip, turned her back to me and walked away and never even said thank you. Then screamed at us to get out because we told the staff member who took our drinks that we weren't done with them. Accused us of yelling at him. Well duh, the music was loud. He didn't hear me at first. She was screaming at us and that was OK I guess. Said I was the rudest person in there. 😂🤣🙄 Also served my friend, who is in food service, spoiled grapefruit juice, and told her it was fine. Eventually replaced the drink after not believing her. Pathetic. The only good thing about our experience there was the musician, Andrew Burleson. He was really good. The sad thing is we were having a really good time until all...
