Brought in a Pixel 7 pro to have a screen replaced. I was told the phone was so new that the only screen available was OEM and it would be $300. I paid $300 Fingerprint sensor never worked again, no big deal.
Less than 30 days later the screen developed dead pixels and a white line vertically. I brought it back in and was told that they only give a 14 day warranty on their work and materials and I should pay them again.
They gave me a phone number to some sketchy supplier in New Jersey and suggested I call them about warranty for the screen. Surprise they also told to to eat it.
After digging a bit I discovered this supplier also sells the screen without the sensor for much cheaper.... You see where I'm heading here right?
All I ever wanted was an issue with poor quality repaired or replaced.
Caveat Emptor. I'll never do business with this guy and I'll consistently talk about how I feel wronged.
Anyways, if you want your pixel 7 pro repaired correctly with OEM components, Google will let you mail the phone in and pay an additional $269 to fix what these...
Read moreExemplary service by a highly skilled and super nice guy! I locked myself out of my phone and out of all my accounts (I am gifted that way). Had spent hours on my husband's phone with support, tried absolutely everything, and was ready to give up and start my whole digital life over from scratch. Went to t-mobil and the one kid working at the time told me to take it to Quick Fix. Went to the store, feeling paranoid that the guy would see my personal info, charge a fortune, etc. The guy is like a magician of some kind. It took him a while, he tried a few different things, and after about 35 minutes, he handed it to me and said, "put in a password you'll remember." I did that, I was in; all my info and history was there, and I could breathe again. The kicker? He didn't want money for his work. I couldn't believe it. Gave him some cash, thanked him, and left with a working phone and my faith in humanity restored. I recommend this shop VERY HIGHLY....
Read moreAwsim from Turkey helped me and my ipad 6th generation out today. I fixed the shattered ipad screen myself but as is typical the home button was not the same and would not work. I first went to the shop on kennedy who said they wouldn't be responsible for breaking the glass as they try and fix the home button. and they are supposed to be a "repair" shop. very rude. I went to Awsim next and he quickly made me feel at ease. said bring it in and will take a look. I brought the ipad in and he opened up and quickly found the issue. within 15 minutes the original home button worked like new. he gave me a great deal. If any other issues, I would definitely use quick fix service again. great customer service, great repair. timely and reasonable price. hard to find in downtown key west. ...
