What a disappointment. Don't go unless you have some time to waste. If you look at my other reviews, you will see I do not take myself too seriously and generally leave positive reviews. This place will be an exception. I was so excited to find a bakery. I had been looking for one most of the day. It looks super cute and inviting from the outside. We were out sight seeing and I thought we'd found another gem. Upon entering we found a pretty cramped space with several other customers, but still really cute. The lady at the counter completely ignored us and kept chatting with the customers in front of us for at least 5 minutes. When she finally acknowledged us, she took one of our drink orders then started talking with the customer behind us and taking their order. It took the lady another several minutes to begin making the coffees (mine and the customer behind us) because she was talking to the other people working there. My mother in law was disgusted and insisted she didn't want anything any more (which, she was never asked anyway). When my coffe was finished, I was finally acknowledged again and I asked for 2 chocolate chip cookies. She was still talking to everyone else and I thought she'd never get the cookies in the bag. $17 and much frustration later, we were finally on our way. Salted caramel latte was mediocre at best but their cookies were really quite good. Terrible, terrible...

Just went to the bakery for the first time I a fee years. Food took forever to get, which is typical, but the new issue was with my food, which has never happened before.

My first half was fine, nothing to write home about. More tomato than smoked salmon, and the pieces of tomato were thicker than the salmon too 😒

The second half!!! Had a peice of salmon so small it didn't even cover a whole fork. All tomato. I got goat cheese added to the sam, there was just as much goat cheese as salmon. Aka basically none. So I got a half a sandwich that was edible, and a half that is bread, bacon, and soggy commodity tomato. It is supposed to be the smoked salmon sandwich, for reference.

So disappointing bc it's a pretty expensive place, and a sandwich should be easily executable, esp if that's your whole menu.

...pic quality abysmal, you can see the only salmon which I had to dig out of some spinach, pile of tomatoes in the back, and not really any goat cheese to be found. Guess I'm having s bacon sandwich for...

We come up from PA a few times a year and this place is always a regular stop. The oatmeal with dried cherries is amazing, as are all the bakery items I've tried, and the coffee is just as good, if not better than any I've had in the area. I've read a lot of the reviews and at least in my experience, the negative ones are the exception, not the norm, and I've always received friendly and quick service ... If I had one minor critique, it'd be the sign out front. Unless you're looking for it, the lettering is quite small and you could easily pass without knowing it's a bakery. Overall it's a great spot that I'd recommend and will certainly be back (I'm actually typing this waiting for them to open ... I'm telling you the oatmeal is ridiculously good)!!

Edit: There's actually a big sign that says "bakery" so I take back my lone critique. Not sure how I...

Travellers, this is a fine bakery with delicious baked goods. The person behind the counter told me all the baked goods were made from their recipes in house and it tastes like it was in an amazing way. I could not believe how wonderful the cookies were. And their famous sticky buns are famous for a reason. They are sticky and delicious. Everything was better than I expected it to be. The snickerdoodles were fantastic but the lemon crack cookie lived up to their name. You can’t eat just one. Service was wonderful and helpful. It is a small cafe too so folks were eating breakfast which features their handmade bagels. It is a small but select group of desserts. Check it out. We recommend. TLDR great bakery. Delicious.
