Five Guys — Restaurant in Kingsport

It is very rare when I give a bad review. And its not the food I dont like. It's the price. They have an awesome double cheeseburger and very good fries. But is a double cheeseburger, small fry and small drink worth 13.44? Is it really? Not to me it isn't. A Wendy's double with cheese combo is only 7.69 and is every bit as good. And Wendy's even runs deals on its double with cheese combo for only 5$ often. I don't mind paying for good food. But at some point you have to call pricing like five guys as abusive. It amazes me they are still in business. I hated writing this because I hate being negative. But someone had to say what we all think. Update. 4 17 2022. That combo has now risen to 18.21 with tax. I usually go once a year to see if prices have fallen. Guess not. They will just keep on raising prices until we stop going. Don't...

My recent vsit was the first time I had been to Five Guys in quite awhile, and I will probably not be back. We have a 1yr old son who is now eating only table food. At most places, my husband and I can order a meal and just let our son eat off our plates. This is not possible here as portion sizes for entrees are just enough for adults. This visit was the first time I realized there is NO options for a kids menu. So, I asked to buy just a hot dog weenie, no bun. They charge the same price as a regular hot dog ($4+) for a just a weenie, for a 1yr old child no less!! How crazy! I can go down the road to Texas Roadhouse and order a weenie for $1 or Pal's charges $0.60. It upsets me to realize that such a major chain restaurant does not account for families with small children! Next time, I will go...

Very first time eating here!! With that said the food was good but not for the prices!!! I have never spent 10 bucks for a Cheeseburger in my life!!! The only reason we did this time is it was a fund raising event for the grand babies school!! I called the order in waited the 10 minutes I was told then went in! I then waited another half hour or so after getting through line to pay my $70 order!!! All the time my food is sitting back there getting cold! Then when I was finally handed my order it was pushed across the counter at me rudely with not even as much as a sorry for your wait!!!
