Edited Review ....3rd and final review. I get the 501 pretty good toast was a little over toasty, didn't like the tomatoes on it without enough 1000 island, just my preference. NOW here is where it gets Good. They had to remake my burger while I waited an extra 20 minutes which is reasonable glad they caught it But then the little short dark haired girl came over to the Only TV at that end of the Bar and changed the Army /Navy Game (Lacrosse) without asking ( In Overtime w/ less the 2 Minutes left)before asking, then yes it gets better, after then asking Not only could she not find the game again but couldn't find the other game that some guy was looking for that walked in , ( So it was all for Nothing)That had Not been there for 45 minutes eating and hanging out. No I wasn't alone. No matter what sport or how you like your food this is unacceptable when visiting somewhere multiple times in just 2 months of opening, So I am Forced to completely change this review. In all fairness as I am I will post pictures of my original review which did get a FIRE 🔥 response from them. So Sorry but first time for everything apparently if the owner or someone with discipline isnt there, they are not costumer friendly. Needless to say I probably won't be back... I have now been several times the first was a day maybe 2 after opening. After 117 reviews and almost 5 million views I have Never had to do this.
2ND: I got half a$$ service one time I went because the 2 guys working the bar that Monday were on the phone and talking which is fine besides the very small sandwich I payed for I don't recommend the sandwiches.. had to choke down and order extra drink when they did make it by.
1st Review:50/50 vibe? Walk into a plethora of country, bluegrass, a tink of blues. Very confusing vibe when visually it's a super modern tap house Grill. With the plain screen lined walls that give wal to a butcher block top bar and wood windows and tin. No liquor/ coming SOON...Food. Excellent love to touch of extra crispy onion rings capn my Firehouse burger, Adorned with cheese, bacon, fried onion, strings etc..w/some amazing something saucethats incredible, cheesecurds as well..Fresh Fresh everything. One presentable woman taking care of everything very adequately. All &all friendly staff. Games on and 8 screens a +. So good food a game and beer.. I think if they figure out the complete vibe and bring it all together it could be here for as long as they would like. Which let's face it good food should do it anyway. It is.. Patio available as well, friends. Let's break 4million on this one...also made level 7.....
Read moreWe started by ordering mac and cheese bites as an appetizer, but they never came. Our entrées were brought out first, and I had to remind the waitress about the appetizer—same thing with my boyfriend’s beer, which had also been forgotten.
I ordered the “Snoop” sandwich, which is listed on the menu as roast beef, tiger sauce, Swiss, and bacon. What I received instead had roast beef, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo—completely different ingredients. When I mentioned this to the waitress, she insisted (with noticeable attitude) that it was the correct sandwich. I calmly pointed out that the menu doesn’t mention lettuce, tomato, or mayo. She doubled down and said, “Um, actually it does,” but agreed to bring a new one anyway.
I checked the menu again just to be sure—and I was right. When she brought the second sandwich, it was exactly the same as the first. I even tried to show her the menu, but she refused to look and insisted it was the correct sandwich, claiming the mayo was actually tiger sauce… tasted like regular mayo to me. She also admitted she asked the kitchen to remake it without lettuce and tomato, but “they put it on anyway,” and she still served it to me. Instead of acknowledging the mix-up, she ended with, “Sorry you didn’t like your sandwich,” which completely missed the point.
As someone who’s worked in the service industry for years, I totally understand that mistakes happen. But what made this experience frustrating wasn’t the error—it was the attitude and refusal to take accountability. A simple apology and a correctly made sandwich would’ve gone a long way.
I really wanted to like this place. I know The Corner is a locally owned spot, and I want to support small businesses—but this was our first visit, and unfortunately, it’ll be our last. I hope management reads this and takes it as constructive feedback to ensure better service...
Read moreWaited in the rear parking for my wife to arrive for dinner. Watched a group of four employees open and gather around rear kitchen door by the customer rear entrance for a “smoke” break. The tall skinny cook with the shorts falling off his slender frame, long stares at my wife as she drives by to park, as he does the other female patrons as they walk by. Not the best welcoming committee to have ganged up at your rear entrance. As we walk by these guys to get to the door, the pungent smell of marijuana engulfed me as I walked by this sketchy band of cooks. Are these the guys preparing my food when I order? Yes it is.Got seated, met our two friends, looked over the menu. We sat there for at least 10 minutes before getting service. The restaurant was about 1/2 full at this point. Waitress was friendly initially when she took our order for an appetizer. Took her a while to return for final orders. Waited a minimum of 35 minutes for the appetizer(spinach dip) and THEN a young man comes out to say that they lost 1/2 of our orders in the kitchen(because everyone was stoned to the bone I can only assume) So our friends got their door well before we got ours, and once we finallygot our orders that they had lost, they got my wife’s order wrong, ADTER ORDERING IT TWICE! lol! You just have to laugh . Her Philly Steak sandwich had one thin slice of meat on it(had gotten a really beefy one there before that was good) Waitress got attitude with us before the meal was over. The saving grace was that the other 3 meals were pretty good-just took over an hour to get our food from “Cheech n Chong” in the kitchen. Not a place that will last long with an out of control staff and lack of management and control....
