Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Kingsport

I don't like doing this. If a change is made, I'll change this rating. Because I really do like the food. Jersey Mike's has really good bread. Which is the most important part of the sandwich. I get a BLT on white atleast once a week. Too many time, when I ask if they'll butterfly the bread, which means not cut through the bread, I get some attitude or a look. When I ask for no black burnt bacon, I get an attitude. Either I'm told, "The owner wouldn't allow the bread, because it's not Jersey Mike's Specs. Or "All the bacon has black on it", which is just a garbage response. And the kicker is I've always left a nice tip. If you're not willing to make a tiny change for a customers satisfaction, don't ask for a tip. And if they're paying above required payment with a tip, go above with...

This was the worst Jersey Mike’s sandwich I have ever had. We ordered the giant club and added grilled mushrooms and asked for the entire sandwich to be hot including the bread. They left the bacon off of the sandwich completely and made the sandwich in the back to heat it and then it sat in the window forever and then was transferred to where the toppings were and sat for another 5 minutes. So of course the sandwich was completely cold. We had to bring it home and heat it in the microwave which made the bread like rubber. We normally go to another store and the sandwhich is made completely different and it stays hot until we get it home. They make and dress the entire sandwich where the grill is and then wrap it and put it in the bag immediately. We will not be retuning...

I’m not sure if the same guy is still the manager here at the East Stone Drive location but he called me for an interview in the spring of 2018 right after I graduated college. Keep in mind I am a 12 year licensed healthcare veteran with a bachelors degree so that should tell you what caliber of human being i am. I drove all the way from Church Hill to this interview and the manager asked me to tell him about myself. Once he saw that I had a small tattoo of a flower on my wrist (and that is my only visible tattoo) he told me that he didn’t allow people with tattoos to work there and that I could go ahead and leave.
