McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Kingsport

Above and beyond today. Went in today as per request of my 6yr old grandaughter(it's her bday today and that is where she chose to eat lunch,she wore her special princess dress today and she let everyone know it was her bday. :). She loves the pizza kids meal with cookie and choice of chips. She got that and I got the king club. Half for lunch and half for dinner. It's HUGE! The cashier was sweet and friendly. We got our number and went to find a seat. Within 2min an employee came over to let us know she was very sorry but they had no pizza as the delivery hadn't come in yet. :( she apologized again and asked if we'd like another option. My grandaughter was dissapointed but things happen. Before I could say anything...get this...this very sweet employee(her name is Susan) actually told my grandaughter because it was her birthday she was going to personally go next door the the pizza restaurant and get her 2 slices of cheese pizza! Today is the first time that I have ever eaten at Mcalister's Deli and I got the king club sandwich with a side of macaroni and cheese. And this is by far one of the best restaurants that I have eaten at in this area and I have lived here my whole life and I have a very large and very amazing menu. And my wife doesn't normally like club sandwiches because the meats that come on them but she tried a bite of my king club and she said that it was really really good and she could see herself eating it and that's saying something. And their honey mustard sauce is absolutely amazing you don't even know you're eating mustard. It doesn't have that nasty mustard taste to it. And like I said I got their macaroni and cheese and I'm really picky about my mac and cheese and this is by far some of the best Mac and Cheese I've had it almost reminds me of Golden Corral but with a better taste So I recommend this restaurant to any and everyone five...

After being a former employee here and eating at this restaurant before then, the staff and managers all do an outstanding job. The managers will help you if you need help there is no letting your coworkers down. This restaurant is about positivity and striving to do better then you did the week before. Steve the GM is by far one of the best GM’s I’ve ever encountered, whether it is to work for or talk too. Steve was always there for an employee when one of us needed someone to talk too, always cared about his employees and would be giving compliments and encouraging everybody, espically after a lunch rush or kids night. The managers, Kaitlin, jocolyn, and Grace was there to help, never would you be disappointed to work or see one of them working.
