I decided to give Taco Bell another shot, even though the last trip wasn't so good. I didn't think it could get any worse, I honestly thought it could get better (everybody has off days). On February 28th I ordered two five layer burritos and the new Cheesy Crunch box. The five-layer burritos, were thrown together to the point where it looked like slop and tasted.... honestly rotten. The meat from the crunch box tacos, had about a centimeter worth of meat that was still pink. The person I was eating with at 3:04 a.m. February 28th called and spoke with a manger. Telling them the situation, the man on the other end of the phone said: " I'm sorry and to bring the receipt for a refund.". I go today on March 3rd at 8:10 p.m., now mind you it's been almost a week. The GM at the store was requesting the food that we didn't eat. Yes, he actually wanted rotten food, at this point, to be brought back in to prove it hadn't been eaten. "Because ppl will eat it and then try to do this or get their money back." GM. I explained, that you cannot bring rotten food back over a counter in a fast food restaurant due to health and safety regulations. I was informed he wasn't going to take it across the counter, simply to look at it to prove it had not been eaten and then throw it in a dumpster. The GM made the whole process much harder than it needed to be. He denied that he was the one that we spoke to on the phone, even with the phone log that I showed him for 4 minutes and 3 seconds. He said he was the only male manager working that shift on that day and he did not speak to anyone about a refund. That would be calling someone a liar. I told him that I didn't lie, that I had reviewed them before with Google and gave them another shot which they failed. After the undertone, of me being called a liar and a thief was given. I told him that I would be making another review on Google. Also, that if a different person had answered the phone claiming to be him, that said person should be fired. He agreed with that statement, yet was still basically refusing to do anything about the situation. He eventually opened the register gathered out an entire $17 (missing the 5¢) and placed it in my hand...only to walk off. If Taco Bell corporate can see this please feel free to email or call me, so we can discuss this...
Read moreI love Taco Bell. I typically eat it once every week or two, sometimes more. The location on Eastman Road tends to serve nasty food, so I go to this one. Food quality at this location is usually pretty good, but that’s not even what I’d like to note today.
The issue at this Taco Bell is that 9/10 orders are incorrect in one way or another. It has become so insanely common that it’s just become my routine to pull into a parking spot every time I receive my food in the drive-thru to check my entire order for accuracy. I genuinely feel a sense of excited relief when my order is entirely correct, because it is so, SO infrequent.
I have to remove everything from the bag and unwrap everything, every single time, because the number of times I’ve gotten home and had missing/incorrect ingredients/items is astronomical, and that is so extremely disappointing.
This means that on 9/10 drive-thru visits here, I still end up having to walk inside, wait for anyone to come to the counter, explain my issue (often multiple times because the employees seem confused and/or apathetic), and wait for the item to be remade.
AND THEN, the rest of my food has had time to get cold and soggy.
It makes me sad because I genuinely enjoy Taco Bell so much, but it has become so unnecessarily frustrating to eat at this location.
PLEASE, E Stone Dr. Taco Bell, develop a better strategy and/or more accountability for order accuracy! This has become egregious!
ily but please...
Read moreIt's taco bell I don't expect much. I normally put an order in the app and pick it up. This time the app sent my order to another city that I don't live or work in. I was NOT able to cancel my order in the app, the cashier said there was nothing she could do. The manager refused to help in any way other then to tell me to email someone about the app. I asked for a corporate number or someone I could speak to in order to correct this issue since it was out of my control and she would not help me. The manager began to get rude pulled out her cell phone and wrote a name down and said to call her DM. There was no phone number and when I asked her to provide the information she got worse and threatened to call the local police. I asked her again to just fix my order or call someone to help her fix it. She said no and then wrote the number down. I was able to call corporate and speak to a very nice woman who within minutes was able to correct the issue with the app.
All I can say is I hope you don't ask for help with anything and that your order is not too complex because the management here does not care about your order...
