First things first. Botteco falls far short of the experience at Fogo de Chão. While the food was generally good, several factors prevented it from being truly superior. Firstly, the service was incredibly slow. After being seated and placing our order for the all-you-can-eat option, we waited almost 40 minutes for the gauchos to start making their rounds. This was especially frustrating with hungry and hangry and increasingly rowdy kids in tow. Even the appetizers too way too long! At Fogo, the gauchos arrive almost immediately, ensuring a steady flow of delicious meats. Secondly, the quality of the cuts at Botteco Brazil wasn't as impressive as Fogo. While they certainly were tasty, they were generally comparable to Fogo's "Best of Brazil" cuts, which are their lower-tier offerings. Finally, the absence of a market table was a noticeable drawback. Fogo's extensive market table with salads, sides, and cheeses adds significant value and variety to the dining experience. Considering that Botteco Brazil's price point was closer to $50 per person, compared to Fogo's $70, you could make the case that the value is there. However, when Fogo runs their "Best of Brazil" promotion for $39, then that really ruins Botteco's value proposition. If you're craving Brazilian churrascaria in Seattle, Botteco Brazil might be an acceptable choice. You may just be compromising quality and service a little bit.

I really like this place, as a Brazilian whenever I miss home I come here to have lunch. The atmosphere is great, there’s always Brazilian music playing, the deco is really nice as well. The portions are big (even tho it doesn’t seem like it in the last picture) last time I ate here (last pic) I actually had leftovers for another 2 meals hahaha. This space is bigger than the Queen Anne one, and offers the “Rodízio” all you can eat. It does take a while for the meats to come and go, but I’ll blame it on the odd time I was over (3pm on a Sunday) and also wasn’t the fullest, but as soon as more tables were filled more options of meat were brought and faster as well. The sides come quickly (cheese bread is the best) and the waiters were really nice. All Brazilian as well so it’s nice to speak Portuguese to them, they will greet you in English (obviously) but you can always say where you’re from (if you speak Portuguese or even Spanish, we Brazilians love to dabble in the “portunhol”. Great experience overall, just hoped there more options of cuts of meats, and even some sides. But for the price, it’s really great.

This is a true Brazilian family restaurant. They do not only Brazilian churrasco style steak dinners but also traditional plates you would order at most family restaurants in Brazil. My wife is Brazilian, and this is on our short list for date nights, birthdays, and family visits. For food, we recommend the feijoada, moqueca (pictured), or stroganoff as typical plates. All the appetizers are typical too. We didn't do the churrasco, but it looked amazing. Most Americans don't know what Brazilian food is all about. The country is a melting pot like the US, so there is a wide range of cultures and traditions. We have been looking for a restaurant like this in Seattle. The environment was really nice, intimate enough to have a table to yourself, and not too crowded or noisy. It's great for dates or a family night. It had a very friendly vibe, with the owners and staff walking about checking on tables like a nice Italian Trattoria, without all the pretense. If you're looking to try true Brazilian food in a family owned restaurant for a special night with a date or the family, I'd really recommend this place.

This was my second time here to eat. My first experience was just okay but last night we decided to give it another try and let me tell you, the food was phenomenal! Service though was kind of sketchy at first, we were just sitting there and the meat servers were just passing us by for like 10 minutes straight. Servers were passing us left and right but this husky sweaty guy zipped by us at least 4 times and on the 5th time we made eye contact but he continued on past us. I was starting to get mad and that's when this polite fella (Omar I believe his name is?) Hurried over to our table and I explained to him what was going on and he said he would take care of it. I watched him speak to a few different people then he went around the back of what I assume is the kitchen, this guy comes out front he must have been working on something else in the back because his sleeves were rolled up and had to roll them back down and button them and put his red bolo tie scarf back on and glove up. Omar pointed to our table and he came over with the best shrimp ever lol introduced himself said his name was Chad aaand boy did he look like a Chad 😂 he had brown hair and an orange beard and a lot of other stuff going on, he was quite the character. He was polite, funny, personable and he and Omar took damn good care of us to the point where whatever happened before Omar saw my frustrations doesn't even matter anymore. They both gave the best service I've had and my family was so appreciative. Chad was so good with the children calling the sausage Brazilian hotdogs, made a cheesey joke about how the lamb isn't "baaaaad" and even convinced us all to try chicken hearts! We will certainly be eating here again next month! What was going to be a zero star turned out to be a 5 star rating. Make sure to ask for...

We visited with a group of seven on a Saturday evening around 7:20 pm. Despite it not being too busy (with only 3 other tables occupied) the overall experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, which gave us hope for a great evening. We opted for the Rodizio buffet, which included a variety of sides and all-you-can-eat meat selections.

Unfortunately, the service was extremely slow. Not all the sides we ordered were brought to our table, even after following up multiple times. The staff was not attentive, we had to ask for water refills several times, and it took over 40 minutes just to get water and other drinks that we ordered. Given that the restaurant wasn’t crowded, this level of service was disappointing.

The Rodizio meats were average at best. After spending two hours there, we weren’t offered all the meats that were supposed to be served, and some meats were repeated multiple times. Sadly, many of them didn’t taste great. The side dishes were just okay; the cheese bread lacked flavor, and the feijoada was disappointing.

While the price point here is lower than Fogo de Chão, Ipanema and Texas de Brazil, I believe paying $15-20 more would be worth it for better service, more attentive staff, and higher-quality meats. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for a...
