Knightdale Pelican's Snoballs — Restaurant in Knightdale

For this just to be a place to get a snow cone (crushed ice with splashes of syrup) I was not impressed. It took longer to get an snow cone here than it did to get my food at El Senor. In addition, I was super annoyed by all of the yellow jackets surrounding the establishment. I took my daughter and niece to play in the little play house hey have out there and it was filthy and bees were all in there. Why have the activities there if you are not going to clean or keep them up. And to the owner: I would like to got up to the window without worrying about bees attacking or stinging me and my kids. There are things you can do to treat bees in the area and grass. On my last visit my daughters ordered two small snowballs and I ordered a kids size. The girl charged me for 3 smalls but still gave me the kid size. It would not have bothered me if she would have explained why. But she didn’t. And I was not in the mood to pursue it further. But for the record I ordered the kid size because I knew I would not be able to eat a small. And It should not have mattered because I had my 12 year old daughter with me. We basically switched what our normal orders would be. I will never return to this location because of what happened. I love this place! I met the new owners and his son during my visit. They were a joy to meet and really cared about what my family thought about our visit at the knightdale pelican shop. The owner ask me as a valued customer what can they do better to make my family experiences even better. The owner also asked me what changes I would like to see. We actually spoke for quite sometime about my suggestion which were already in the works! As a customer I felt very valued and look forward to my future visit with my family. I would recommend this...
