Well, we have been doing business with Gina for about 20 years but the love affair ends here! Although I'm not a complainer and have NEVER complained to them about an order, this CANNOT be let go! Upon ordering, I was given a time of 35 minutes and a total of $35.00. About 7 minutes later I get call saying that it's going to be 50 minutes and "BTW, the cost is $45"! Hmmmm so I paid $45 for what was supposed to be a deep dish pizza but what arrived as flat as a thin crust one topping pizza . The extra money was supposedly to cover the Italian beef meat that I requested on my pizza but you would have literally had to go swimming through the pizza to find a scant piece of Italian beef . What did I find? Let me tell you , a big huge chunk of brown paper bag flopped in the sauce under the cheese layer . I basically received a hard, burned to a crisp crust with a bunch of sauce flopped on the top , a bite or two of ham , a few crumbles of cheese and specks of Italian beef . I will never ever again darken their doorstep with my money . Trust me, they know that we were good for at least $100 a month in orders if not more. I would say that probably over the last year , the food and service has just gotten progressively worse to the point that now they are serving brown paper bag and charging $45 for it ! I would sooner buy frozen pizza then ever return to Gina's. Oh yes, my husband stood in the pickup area for 5 minutes and listened to the 2 owners fight before they even noticed he was there. Read moreI'd give them 5 stars if I could just get a pizza when I wanted one. The food really is great, but while the menu may state they're only closed Mondays, that is not the truth. On several Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, they've been closed (my personal experience - other dates are possible! and yes, I'm serious about it happening on a Saturday; Saturday evening around 7pm to be exact!). Then, when they are open, they're too busy and it's either wait an hour for PICK UP (I shudder to think what the delivery time would be) or choose another place. Honestly, they're missing out on more money than they're making with their lack of resources and just plain days open for business. They'd have a few hundred more of my dollars if they had simply picked up the phone every time I called. I'm frustrated...can you tell? Sigh...if you can get actually get through and get an order placed, then I would recommend this...
Read moreI ordered a pizza with veggies on the whole pizza and meat on half. The pizza I received had sausage on the entire pizza. When I called to just asked why There was meat on the entire pizza, I was told that I had ordered half super and half meat. I guess the super has meat. I made it clear that I did not want meat on half. I did not want a refund or another pizza, but an apology about the confusion would have been nice. Instead I was blamed for the mistake. I live in Chicago and I’m used to paying for over priced pizza, but they usually get my order right and they hold...
