I took my son and my two little granddaughters to the McDonald’s in Knox Indiana on January 8 2024 around 4 PM and was sitting there inside the lobby eating and I heard a Store employee, which was a manager, screaming. I turned around and she is screaming at an old man and berating Him Mercilessly. He wasn’t just older he was an elderly gentleman. He tried to de-escalate the situation by shaking her hand, and she refused, continued screaming at him to where everyone in the restaurant could hear her. Literally, five minutes later, another gentleman walked in the store who was in the drive-through and got a wrong order and he spoke with her and she refused to make the order right or give him a refund and started screaming at him to get out of her store, he asked for her name she refused to give it just repeated screaming at him, telling him to leave. This was the worst customer service I have ever witnessed in my life and I do not even know the woman’s name because she refused to give it. She was either a store manager or a shift manager. She has no business at all whatsoever working in the public. I know there was a police report made by the gentleman because she refused him his food or a refund, and I did speak with police officer who agreed that this is a corporate matter, but that he was involved, Because , she refused to give him his money back. The fact that she screamed at two gentlemen in the span of about 15 minutes while I was there is absolutely Ludacris. She has no business working with the public and customer service and I would really like to see her gone. Shame on her shame on her, mainly for screaming at that old man like that I never heard a word from him. I just saw him trying to shake her hand , but she was having none of it. I never write reviews like this, but this needs to be told, and something needs to be done about that woman she is going to ruin their business. Read moreThis place robbed me. I don’t normally write reviews but I still can’t believe this happened to me. So a couple of nights ago after work I was tired and hungry and thought okay let me order off my boyfriends app and get us food. I pull in the drive through I have the code up and I give it to the lady twice. She says we don’t have that code. What am I supposed to do with that? So I pull around and am trying to find a way to fix it. I’m thinking maybe the order didn’t go through? So I click the X out of the order, and try to reorder. But I noticed that it gave me the reward points for the order so now I know it went through. I check my receipts and there it is it did indeed go through. So now I go inside try to get help from this teenager at the counter. He takes a picture of the receipt and shows his manager. She yells at him for having his phone out?? And then comes over after I’d been waiting for 15 mins. She says they can’t find it in their system but that SOMEHOW a person came through with the same code and they gave MY food away. I was in shock. WHAT DO YOU MEAN??? So she asks the other manager if they can promo it off and give the food to me because clearly I don’t have any food because someone drove off with mine!! He says to call the GM so now I’m getting mad, I’ve been here for 30 mins now and I’m so frustrated I could cry. They finally come back over and tell me they can’t give me any food. Wow. Just wow. They act like I’m trying to scam them when all I wanted was my dinner I PAID FOR. Spent 20 dollars on food just to leave empty handed. They give me a physical receipt and told me to come back in the morning and talk to the same GM who said not to give me the food. Mind you I work nights. Read moreSunday evening 9/25/2022 around 8 pm we waited in the drive thru lane # 1 for approximately 10 minutes while 3 cars got waited on while in the outside drive lane. We honked the horn several times and yelled into the speaker and we were NOT acknowledged at all. We backed up and got into the outside drive thru lane, finally acknowledged, and relayed our previous situation. No apologize was given or offered. We continue to place our order and of 2 Quarter pounder value meal and after we both recited our order, we were informed that the restaurant was “out of quarter pounders”…the drive thru employees SHOULD HAVE GREETED US AND THEN let us know, they were out of quarter pounders BEFORE we placed our order. This restaurant has been historically slow thru the drive thru and our experience was UNACCEPTABLE for any customer! The night manager and employees should be seriously reviewed for their job performance last Sunday evening by the current ownership. In conclusion, we will not be going to that McDonald’s in the future and recommending to our friends, that they shouldn’t also, due to the extremely poor customer service they continue to provide!
