Please can you just give me the food I paid for one time please. I ordered in the app using a coupon (BOGO asiago chicken clubs), no problems yet. I order via app all the time at all different restaurants and have never ran into an issue...until today! I get there and have two friends in the car that also ordered on the app. They print out their two receipts and open the window to tell me they cannot make my order because it shows that there's a balance due. Confused, I hand them my phone and show them my receipt in the app. I show the discount it gave me, that I've already paid (the balance due on their end is the amount of the discount). I open my banking app and show the money has already been removed from my account. They maintain they cannot make my order, so I ask for a refund. They say they can't cancel my order or refund me. Well, there's no option to cancel my order or request a refund in the app because it's already been marked as fulfilled by the restaurant. I showed them this too. So....I'm pretty sure it constitutes theft to charge for goods and services and to refuse to deliver nor refund the amount charged, Lida. They didn't give my friends their food either for like 20 minutes because they had me come inside to resolve the issue (and then proceeded to not resolve the issue in the slightest). I really tried everything with these people. All I got offered was to come back and talk to the manager on Monday. Not my food I paid for, nor my money back. Well, I'm retired and have nothing better planned so I'll see you on Monday, Mike. Hopefully upper management has a better understanding of hospitality. I'm not really asking for too much. Read moreThis salad was amazing! It's the Jalapeno Popper Salad. Also, Michael is the name of the General Manager at this location. This is two reviews in one. A few days ago my fam and I ordered a $40 order (because we have 5 kids). Anyways, they completely bombed the order by leaving many items out of the bag altogether, and getting other items that had been customized wrong. Michael made it right by giving us a full refund! I explained to him that he did the right thing and that by him giving us a refund, we're now more than glad to continue spending our money there. As I was explaining that, one of my daughters chimed in stating that she was hungry. I asked what she wanted and then ordered it. Michael gave us that meal free in addition to already having given us a refund. This last act of apologies from their order-making mishap is what drove me to write this review. Read moreThis is the second time in a month we have visited this particular Wendy's, & we've had to take our food back both times, cause we were served blackened meat on our burgers. Which is either chili meat, or burnt meat.
Note:: (My husband used to work at a Wendy's, was given the master grill man award, & knows what chili meat is.)
Also, don't think they change their fry grease, cause the fries are burnt looking, tastes nasty & too crunchy.
We will not be back here. Will definitely drive out of our way to go somewhere else!
Just sad people don't take pride in their work anymore.
