Visit: 9:55pm on 6/12 I'd love to say my item was great but that would be a lie. I was driving from a long distance in my GPS that I would get there 5 minutes before closing. I called while on the way to ensure that they would be open when I arrived. I offered to place my order over the phone but the woman said it wasn't possible. When I arrived the woman, who said her name was Daisy, didn't even greet me. She actually looked really annoyed to have me in the store. I get it's late, but I did what I could to try expedite my order over the phone but she refused so I don't think it's appropriate to make me feel that way. With her back facing me she asked what I would like and I told her I wasn't sure of the name but it was coffee lover something. She looked at me with a dead look on her face and I wasn't sure what to say so I said "Do you have something like that, coffee something?" And she just nodded her head and started making my order. I asked, "What is the name of it" and under her breath she said, "Cover lovers...." I couldn't hear the rest because she said it so low. I noticed that she wasn't making it on the Coldstone, which was weird because I'm at COLDSTONE creamery and she said that she shut off the Goldstone at 9pm. Which is an hour before closing. So I asked if there was a discount when it's not made on the coldstone and she said, "No". Very disappointing. I've gone to the Coldstone in Old Town after Taco Tuesday shortly before closing and have NEVER run into this issue. I'm going to reach out to corporate to find out if it's just this location or every location. She handed me my melty ice cream without a lid and I mentioned that I'd need to put it in the freezer to enjoy it like it's meant to be enjoyed and requested a lid. While, I understand it was late I don't understand the attitude and the point of making me feel like I wasn't wanted in there. Zander was extremely friendly and helpful and I didn't get that weird...
Read moreI placed this order over the phone for a small birthday cake with specific writing on it, and when I picked it up, $51 later, I take it home, and when I open it, not only does it look messy and rushed, but the writing I requested on the cake wasn't on the cake. The writing is messy and uncoordinated, the winky face is messed up, and the Oreo crumbles were all over the place. This cake was for my sister, and I was looking forward to seeing her reaction to it. The manager at this place gave me the worst attitude when I picked it up, due to me acting confused as to why their smallest cake was $51. The quality of the cake I purchased shouldn’t have been more than $20. The person who helped me on the phone when I was ordering it was very nice, and she made me feel confident that this location would be able to accommodate my requests for this cake. I would expect more from such an expensive small cake, but I am deeply disappointed in the quality of it, and that they weren’t even able to write what I wanted on the cake in their messy handwriting. Will definitely be speaking to customer service about this, hopefully...
Read moreI drove 30 minutes for this location because it was the only one that had a small-sized chocolate cake that I wanted. I needed to buy two cakes and I ended up buying some ice cream for myself as well. It was for a party the following day so I dropped over $60 in merchandise to accommodate my party. The second cake, which was strawberry, had cracks all over the top of it and it was the only one left. After I asked for a discount for the damaged item, they just looked at me and said they won't do anything. Then the manager came out and said the same thing. I walked away feeling upset and under-served about the situation. The ice cream cake tasted mediocre, but I mostly don't recommend going here because the customer service is lacking. You would think relatively speaking customers drop on average about $5 there per visit per person. The fact that they made over 1,000% off me you would think they would have accommodated me a little bit...
