This is Naaz Karimi. I came all the way from San Diego special for Sweet Lilies Bakery. Totally obsessed 😍 You can tell everything is baked fresh and made with love. This place has quickly become one of my favorites, and I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Cozy vibes, amazing staff, and everything is baked to perfection. I ordered a custom cake from Sweet Lilies Bakery for my husband’s 50th birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have been happier. Not only was the cake absolutely beautiful, but it was also incredibly delicious—every guest commented on how amazing it tasted. The team went above and beyond to bring my vision to life, and their attention to detail truly made the occasion feel special. The hidden gem behind all this hard work is two incredible people who pour their time, talent, and passion into every single item they create. First let me start with a few negative comments i recently noticed, and I just want to say—my experience has been nothing but great and positive. It’s easy to criticize, but much harder to create something meaningful every day, and that’s exactly what Sweet Lilies does.

That’s really disheartening—especially when a place like Sweet Lilies Bakery puts real care into what they do. Sadly, some people focus more on complaining than giving credit where it’s due. It’s easy to overlook the good and focus on small flaws, but places like this deserve recognition.

I’m grateful for Sweet Lilies and everything they bring to all the neighborhoods. Let’s not forget how much effort it takes to run a small business with heart. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Lili's Bakery in Laguna Hills, California, and let me tell you, it was a truly delightful experience. This charming bakery, owned by two Iranian sisters, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements their exceptional Persian pastries.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with a genuine smile and a warm welcome by one of the owners. The friendly and accommodating nature of the staff immediately made me feel at home.

Sweet Lili's Bakery is a treasure trove for anyone with a sweet tooth. Their Persian pastries are simply outstanding. The flavors are rich and unique, offering a tantalizing blend of traditional Iranian ingredients and techniques. Each bite transported me to a world of exquisite flavors, filled with delicate rosewater, fragrant saffron, and the perfect balance of sweetness.

One of my personal favorites was the saffron-infused pistachio baklava. You have to like a place where the owner is so sweet, and goes out of her way to be pleasant. We stopped last Thursday, at around 12:30 PM, after reading so many positive reviews, which by the way, is how we select where to shop. No time for trials and errors at this stage of our lives. Not to say that even places with 5 Stars, can not be a disappointment once in a while. The place was vacant, zero traffic, and that made me instantly a little weary. What!? Praises galore (160+), and not one bakery customer? We, two 💕 lovely ladies, and not so lovely me, entered, and spent a little past $30 (never go overboard the first time, I have learned the distasteful way), even though I must admit $30+ is not chicken feed. Tried a few items, liked the fact that some of their goodies are sold by the pound, it seemed kind of fair, slightly overpriced perhaps?, but hey! we are talking Orange County, near Leisure World, where you really have to have moola if one wants to live there. Prices in CA are silly! If you do not drive Lexus, Mercedes, watch out! Getting back to the subject matter, we waited until our safe return home to try our new finds.
