I drove from Irvine on a Sunday to buy sangak bread here because I had heard great things about their quality through word of mouth. Unfortunately, when I arrived, the sangak breads were not freshly baked, which I understand, since bakeries canāt always have fresh bread at every moment. However, I asked the cashier multiple times whether the breads were fresh, and she repeatedly assured me they were from the same day.
When I got home and opened the bag, it was clear the bread was at least 1ā2 days old: it broke apart easily and had lost its freshness. This was very disappointing, especially after being told otherwise. On the other hand, I also purchased another type of bread (I believe Mashhadi bread), which was fresh and of good quality. So the bread quality itself can be good, but the lack of honesty from the staff is not accepted, in my opinion. If I had received a authentic behaviour, I might have returned to the store. But I cannot trust their word, and I would not recommend this...
