Steak 'n Shake — Restaurant in Lake City

i rated steak and shake a one star because the food was actually pretty good the first 2 days out of 3! this third night my fries were cold! The white lady with black hair (Server) that works nights, decided after my friend and i ordered our food which was 3 meals.. she forgot a coke we had ordered..fine no big deal..we then made her aware of it... and when my friend told her about it she replied rudely and showed her frustration and told us we did not order a third drink!.. which we did .. she then decided to look at the receipt and then proceeded to fix her mistake.. but that was not the real problem. She gave us the cups they use for the shakes so the cups were not the size and amount we paid for.. yes..might not be a big deal to some but we paid for it. any customer would want what they paid for.. so then my friend told her and she then told us" no that is the same cup they always give out..blah blah blah.. so my friend then showed her the cup was just the same as another customers in hopes she realized she made another mistake and she got rude and said.. yes its a shake cup, so what!! we as customers once again explained to her we paid for the right cup.. she then proceeded to yell and tell us to get over it and she will have us escorted out..! also yelled and told us to get our cups and get the hell out!.. cursing at us and yelling in front of several other customers.. she clearly was frustrated before we arrived and had taken it out on us..But lady , you only had 1 job... and that was to fix our drinks in the cups we paid for. she just kept arguing about how those are the same cups we received the other nights we came.. which is not true.. she then got on the phone with the so called police.. as we decided to give up and let her screw us over on our money.. and proceeded back to work.. let me just say , i have never seen a coworker with the behavior this lady showed us and i seriously think they need to get rid of her if they want to keep...

I'm not a huge fan of the food here, but I'm not a huge fan of fast food in general. However, at least the shake machine isn't "out of order" or "already cleaned and no longer available to order" at 8:30 pm when technically the restaurant is still open and serves everything else on the menu until Midnight. I know I am not the only person to complain about this very common occurrence in this area.

(RANT INTERLUDE)

Literally ...EVERY SINGLE OTHER FAST FOOD SPOT DEPRIVES THEIR PATRONS OF MILKSHAKES DUE TO SOME UNSPOKEN YET WIDESPREAD IDEA THAT TOT WHATEVER REASON MAKING THE PAYING CUSTOMERS MILKSHAKES IS AN INCONVENIENCE AND SOURCE OF FRUSTRATION FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THESE GUILTY BURGER HUTS ...

OK... But seriously

I'm not sorry for asking these people working at these anti-milkshake fast food spots to make something that is clearly offered on the main menu part of your job description. I mean who do I think I am asking you guys to do the job you signed up for and get paid wages to execute while clocked in. SMFH... over and over again! My thought process: 💭(🤔➡️😒➡️😩➡️😫➡️🙄➡️😮‍💨)

Now that I have got that of my chest...

🗣️ SHOUT OUT TO STEAK AND SHAKE... you guys always have your milkshake machine working and ready to mix up some deliciousness and I personally appreciate that simple fact.

Also, when my husband and I went to the Lake City Steak and Shake last week the girl working the drive thru window was friendly, had a very upbeat attitude, and remembered to give us straws with our shakes. Thank you for being a joy to order from. Things like the above mentioned reasons will keep us coming back to have another late night milkshake...

I give this place ZERO stars unfortunately that was not an option! Walked in put my name on the list for 3 people, my husband and son went to the rest room. We waited about 10 minutes someone else walked in and they asked their name they said it and that they were 2 people. They say ok we have a booth or a table for you to them. I looked at her and she goes oh we have one for you too. That should have been my cue to walk out, but since we were excited to be going to a steak and shake finally we stayed. So we sit and 20 minutes go by. My husband asks another waitress if anyone was in our section. She says Destiny is but I'll take your drink order. At this point 3 other families have been seated and recieved drinks. My husband and son eventually get their drinks she says they're making your shake it'll be right out. 20 more minutes go by people that came in after us get food and shakes(from Destiny). She never even looks in our direction or attempts to assure me that she's working on it. My shake does not show up. We at this point were done. My husband walks over to the original waitress that we spoke to and says we are leaving and explains the situation and Destiny comes over gives my husband a smirk and says I'm still waiting on that shake. The place was filthy. The bathroom was falling apart. The service was deplorable! I have no idea how the food was because after nearly an hour of my time I never got to taste any. Don't...
