We had great food and the service was good for how busy they were and this Resturant came highly recommended so we gave it a try. The reason I am giving a 1 is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and Resturant. They say if you want to know about a resturants cleanliness and operations look at the restrooms. I can handle if it’s been a busy weekend and needs attention but these bathrooms have not been cleaned in years..floor greasy and disgusting, white walls stained, sink filthy, toilets not cleaned in months, mirrors stained with waterspots, just disgusting. It reminded me of a well used, not serviced gas station bathrooms. I stood around waiting for someone to talk to but they were slammed so I left message for the manager as Im a a business owner too and wanted to go direct but no call back. Unfortunately we noticed all these things after we ate, otherwise we would not have eaten there. The entire Resturant was in need of a good steam cleaning. You could see layers of grease all over the decor and host station where you are greeted. It didn’t make for a good impression. The atmosphere is cool though and service was good for how busy they were. Let us know when action taken and we will be back as the food was really good. I left message with my name and number and please call and I will...
Read moreVisited on a Sunday around brunch. Busy looking at the entryway, lots of people sitting outside, but half a dozen or more tables were available in the rear. Our table and booth were both dirty and covered in crumbs when seated. Waited 60-ish minutes on meals for two people. (Our waitress told us we were sat and our orders sent to the kitchen immediately after a group of 24 people; that kitchen and restaurant is clearly unequipped for a party of that size) Both plates of food arrived cold the moment they were sat down. ironically, the eggs were the "hottest" thing we received. Pulled a nice big black hair out of my singular pancake. Never was offered a refill on iced tea, coffee was offered but the mug was only ever half filled. Hashbrowns overcooked, eggs had a lack of any real flavor, sausage was alright, my partner liked her bacon.
The icing on top? An older gentleman, who I presume to be the owner/general manager/or a similar equivalent, was sat down next to us about the time we finally received our food (after sitting there an hour). The staff had a drink in his hand and hot food on his table in under 5 minutes. What a smack in the face.
Cute atmosphere and decorations, poor service, and worse food. New locals and...

We visited Sam's in Lake Havasu City last month, and while we’ve had great experiences here before, this visit missed the mark.
I came in early and was seated at a table that still had a tip left on it. A staff member removed it—which I understand—but the way it was handled felt a bit uncomfortable, like I might be suspected of taking it. Then another staff member seemed concerned about the missing tip, which delayed taking my drink order. The place was nearly empty, but the staff just seemed annoyed to be there.
I ordered the scrambled eggs, and they tasted like Egg Beaters—solid yellow with no whites at all, almost like boxed eggs. Not great. The biscuits and gravy I got were also disappointing—the biscuits tasted freezer-burned, and I stopped after a few bites. My wife ordered over-easy eggs and sausage, and unfortunately, she found a hair in her eggs. To their credit, the staff did take her meal off the bill.
One thing I’ve always liked about Sam’s is their great selection of flavored coffee creamers—that’s a nice touch.
We don’t want to bash the place because we’ve had great meals here before, but this day just wasn’t it. We’ll definitely give it another...
