Sad to see a good place turn shady. (Read til the end to make sure you don't get tricked into paying more) yesterday I brought friends who had never been and I was really hyping the place up. I noticed there's suddenly way too much on the menu, my friend and I ordered shakes because it said that they include 2mini donuts. We didn't get the donuts and a very nice young lady said they would make some if we were willing to wait and we agreed. Suddenly a husky male manager came forward and said rudely "our donut machine is down" to which I replied "is this McDonald's or what?" I heard him tell the girl it was "clogged" and I just left it at that. No need for an argument God forbid I be labeled a Karen for wanting everything the menu said my 7 dollar milkshake includes 🥴 they really should have been advising people at the register and offering a small discount on that item if the donuts aren't available. That was kind of shady and wrong but not nearly as shady as what happens at the register when you go to pay with a card. It automatically selects the tip and if you don't see too well or aren't paying attention they automatically get a tip. It definitely feels like they are setting it up to get more money from people who can't see or are distracted/not paying attention. Wow what kind of place sets people up like that they got my 70-year-old father like that about a year ago but I decided to give them another try. Dear rainbow cone, you are getting too big for your britches yeah the ice cream is good but with service like that and deceptive practices you are bound to lose your rear 💯 (photo included is the credit card screen as it immediately appears after ordering you have to physically select that you do not want to...
Read moreThis was my first time ever having Rainbow Cone. It was kind of crowded and a little unorganized, but it was a nice weekend night so not as bad as it could be for the amount of customers... standing room only. The drive thru was busy as well. I HAD to order the rainbow cone, of course. My boyfriend had the same. My 9 year old daughter had 1 scoop of cookie dough on a baby cone. I couldn't believe it... better than Eifel Waffe, can't even compare to Plush Horse or any Creamery or Jack Frost. It's own flavors and textures like I've NEVER had before. The way it's scooped on the cone is a trend on it's own. Advertising is smart, prices are VERY reasonable... much less that Eifel Waffle, more than Creamery, but less than Plush Horse, so again it's own price. Younger kids working there. They were happy and polite. Kept up VERY well and worked as team players. Also displayed very cute uniforms. An way of energy that just flowed in the array chaos. I highly recommend. At least you HAVE to go once. I recommend going inside for the FULL effect. Also it wasn't dirty. VERY clean. Be prepared, pink is their signature color. 💗
Orange Sherbert (orange-y and more tarty than sweet). Pistachio (you're NOT eating pistachios). Palmer? flavor? 🤷♀️(it is a good old twist on America's favorite, vanilla). Strawberry (I normally LOVE pistachio ice cream, but this flavor was my LOVE). Chocolate (not too rich, more of a chocolate jello pudding pop texture, but kind of tastes like chocolate milk).
Like I said, you HAVE to try it at least once. I think it's THAT good.
PS, Don't chuckle at the cone holder, you'll...
Read moreYesterday, I had an experience at the store that left me feeling like I wasn't treated equally as a customer. The cashier was polite, but I thought that the service from the young Caucasian male handling the ice cream could have been more professional. I ordered a scoop of original rainbow and a scoop of vanilla in a cup, while a Caucasian woman behind me ordered three cups of original rainbow ice cream. After I paid, I noticed that the young Caucasian male served the Caucasian woman behind me first. After making my payment, I waited for my order at the end of the line. I observed the young man serving customers ahead of me, and I noticed that he attended to the Caucasian woman behind me before helping me. While serving her, he put lids on her ice creams and placed them in a bag. However, when it was my turn, he handed me my ice cream and began to walk away. I had to stop him and ask for lids, which he handed me without putting them on or placing the ice creams in a bag. This experience left me feeling like I wasn't being treated equally, and I perceived his behavior as a form of microaggression with possible racial undertones, which is disappointing given the current social climate. I made a conscious effort to stay calm as my toddler son was with me, but I couldn't ignore the disrespectful behavior that other customers also witnessed. I'm a fan of the Original Rainbow Cone, which is a beloved part of the community. However, I believe it's important for the young Caucasian male employee to receive proper training before I consider returning to...
