Big G's Pizza — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I want to emphasize 'No I didn't come here because I loved the pizza' !

Pizza here is pretty average, I came a couple of times only because they have 3 slices for $4.99 deal on 'To Good To Go' APP, and it's what their pizza is worth maximum.

Here's a funny story if you want to read more about what happened. Just want to show you what a douche and how revengeful this owner is. Back in Feb, on a snowy and also the coldest day of this year in Chicago I stopped by to pick up my order, and the owner insisted I must wait until the start of 'to good to go' pick up time. And when I was waiting in my car, a truck scratched my bumper. When I went back to pick up my order, the owner said 'come back again', and I said 'no I won't be here anymore because of the accident', no quarrel or anything that day. Last night I was nearby and wanted some cheap eats, the owner cancelled my order. The app didn't give me notification of the cancellation, and when I showed up, the owner insulted me with the words in his reply below. According to his words, I ordered on the app a couple of times, so I 'harassed' their business a couple of times, and a customer can 'threatened to never come back', isn't it hilarious to witness what vocabulary a douche and revengeful person loves to choose?

Again, if you really want their food, come for the '3 slices for $4.99' on 'too good to go' app, their pizza isn't worth a...

Ordered pizza and wings. Wings were great, we got the carribean jerk. Reasonable pricing and realt great time to delivery. The pizza, however, was not cut very well, making eating it super awkward. Compounding this, we ordered the spicy Dance with el Diablo pizza off the specialty menu. I didn’t realize restaurants served food this spicy, it was only edible because we’d had many drinks. It was like eating raw serranos. I think they mixed habaneros with the sauce. I do enjoy spicy food, frequently ordering vindaloo from Indian places and “habanero” sauces from wing joints, but this pizza was over the top for me. Partially my fault since the menu clearly describes the pizza as having serranos in it. The one star knock is due to it not tasting amazing and not being cut all the way through.

The Caribbean jerk wings are amazing - I will be trying the other flavors, just not risking anything spicy here again.

Edit/ changed to 5 stars, I’ll just have a pizza cutter and Pepto for next...

So today I was by wrigleyville stadium and I was hungry and I seen big g’s pizza and I looked it up on google and it was almost a 5 star restaurant so I was like oh forsure I’m buying something from here so all I purchased was a macaroni and cheese slice of pizza the worker told me it’s one of there top selling pizza so I purchased it and WOW OH WOW I finished it in one minute SUPER DELICIOUS PIZZA !!!! honestly big g’s pizza is the best pizza I have ever tried in my life!! Besides father and son pizza but there’s no more father and sons pizza no where … Honestly I can only imagine how the other pizzas taste no lie whenever I order pizza or my family wants to order pizza BIG G’S PIZZA IS MANDATORY TO GET ! ANYONE WHO LOVES PIZZA I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIG G’S IF I CAN GIVE THEM MORE THEN 5 STARS I DEFINITELY WOULD… No lie imma become a loyal customer to big g’s that’s how delicious it is!! Great customer service also can’t forget...
