I forgot to actually write a review lol. I have been going to Carys for over 12 years. I moved into West Ridge because it would be closer to my favorite place in Chicago. It's not just a bar, it's a welcoming presence, a reminder of simpler times when you can be basic: a conversation with a great beer for a great price from a great bartender in a place with great people. Absolutely the greatest neighborhood bar in the world ! Great rotating selection of beer and cocktails, impeccably maintained free 9 ft pool table, beautiful patio, special events like trivia, bingo, live music (often starting in the afternoon), never a cover charge — tip hard!. Different vibes at different times but always friendly and welcoming . Eclectically and tastefully decorated. Clean bathrooms. Bring your own food or order from a zillion Devon area restaurants. Was a good bar. Great priced drinks without the over inflated prices of Chicago. Has a second floor and an outdoor patio. There's a nice looking pool table.

My favorite part was that there was a bar cat! Its a stray but it loves to be pet. Drinks are ok and it looks like they have a good selection. My only gripe is that they don't have a dedicated menu.
