This is one of the Nisest dives I’ve been to. It’s hard to resist the magnetic allure of the several Malort signs out front. My friend had been telling me all about the infusions they do for months, and I finally had a chance to swing by. The bartender took good care of us and explained the various Malorts they had going on. The Sporty Malorty was good, but the Shamdy was even better. The beers were cheap and the darts were flying. It was the perfect Sunday afternoon. I’ll definitely be back. Malortmas is real! Update: I usually like coming here for the Malört infusions, but this last time I came they didn’t have ANY! Thus, there was no reason to stay.

I hope they fix their floors. It really appears like someone could trip on some loose tiles. Just want management to be aware to avoid any injuries. A friend of mine had her finger injured from one of the chairs there as it wasn’t in working condition. I fear the same could happen if someone trips on a loose tile and hits their head. Totally love the staff there. Just a concern of mine is all I am trying to share with owners. Making fun of me for being a Red Wings fan is pretty funny though— we are pretty bad at hockey!

A dying breed of dive bar in the heart of Wrigley. It's dirty, it's grungy and the bartender never smiled. Not once. It's the perfect dive! The staff does a great job, and my fellow patrons were very friendly. They have darts, pool tables and a juke box. The music the bartender was playing suited us just fine. You can take in your own food and your dog because they don't have a kitchen! Prices are decent, especially for the area.

We went to this bar with my friends on Friday April 11th, and everything was going great, the bartender was awesome and super efficient. Then we took a cigarette break with some of my friends, and the bouncer (in a red hoodie) started to accuse us of things, without telling what he was talking about. He said they were calling the cops, first saying customers were mad and then saying we had used fake money (most of us hadn't even closed our tabs yet). He threatened us, telling us to close our tabs and leave (acknowledging we hadn't closed our tabs, so that we couldn't have used "a fake 50 dollar bill" according to his new version). We were spooked so we went to close our tabs, and when we asked the bartender about the cops, she told us that wasn't true, that she knew nothing about that. We left anyway, and when I told the bouncer the he lied to us and that it wasn't ok to do that, he started being way more aggressive, to the point where we had to leave quickly so that things wouldn't go out of hands.

This is a cool bar, again the bartender was great, the drinks are cheap and good, but threatening us, lying about calling the cops on us, for absolutely no reason, and hence ruining our evening, then getting aggressive is something I can't understand.

So sadly, I and everybody else in the group...

I've never felt so cheated or disrespected at a bar in my life. A big group of us went there for the Cubs game and the staff treated customers like they were below them. They made no conversation or were friendly to anyone but themselves behind the bar, and on top of that were quoting people different drink prices for everything and kept raising it. We ordered rounds of the same drinks and noticed they kept adding on a few dollars each time. Me & all my friends felt completely ripped off when we realized this was happening. We also requested a beer on their craft beer list and they told us they didn't have it and recommended a completely different type of beer in a can...we shortly noticed after we purchased the beer, that we could clearly see the beer we requested in the fridge. They lied to sell a beer they wanted to get rid of and later when we pointed out the beer we originally wanted that they said they were out of, 2 of the bartenters just laughed out loud in our faces and walked away. The ABSOLUTE WORST my friends and I have ever been treated in a bar. I have many friends in the industry, and everyone working at this bar gives them a bad name. I will never be going back to have myself or my friends treated like...

Very rude bartender. I went in there earlier to ask a simple question about an inquiry online I made. Just to confirm/ask if a reservation would be needed. To come in this Saturday for a little birthday get together. And he says he didn't handle the emails there. And that he wouldn't be there Saturday. Ok? Then says this is a dive bar no reservation is needed. I understand that and we've been there a few times. I just went in there to ask and make sure. Since many bars in Wrigleyville have things going on during the weekends or are busier right now. I was still being polite but as I was leaving he looked irritated and shrugged his shoulders. When I said ok all good. I understand working in the industry is often stressful. I work in the industry too. But it's not like I went in there when it was busy and asking them tons of questions. Which I wouldn't have done. I asked two questions and him being a rude prick was uncalled for. We definitely won't be back there. Thank you to the person who was polite in the...
