First time visiting this place and unfortunately, it was a horrible experience from the start. The cashier, Wendy P, was very nice and tried her best, but it was clear she wasn’t properly trained — which is really a failure on the owner and management. There were multiple issues: • The cashier didn’t know what came with the item I ordered. • I asked if falafel came with my order, and she said no — because she wasn’t aware. After I looked up the item and its details on the menu, I showed her that falafel was included, so she had to refund it. • I was also charged for an extra sauce even though two were supposed to come with the meal — and I only received one. • I had to explain the situation to the guy in the kitchen just to get the second sauce. • Wendy also struggled with the refund process and had to call someone, likely the owner or manager, for help. As for the food, it was extremely bland. The seasoning on the shish kabobs was weak, and they didn’t seem marinated properly — they tasted awful. I spent almost $22 (with a drink) for just one person, and it was definitely not worth it. I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other halal restaurants that are much better and deserve your money. Owner/manager — please train your employees properly and make sure they have knowledge of the products they’re selling.

I went to Zam Zam and honestly it was a big letdown. With a name like Zam Zam you expect real Middle Eastern halal flavor and vibe, but what they serve doesn’t match that at all. The chicken quesadilla barely had any chicken mostly onions and way too salty. Felt more like a flatbread experiment gone wrong than an actual quesadilla. The beef shawarma? That wasn’t shawarma at all, more like a Mexican burrito. Nothing against Mexican food, but if you call it shawarma in a place named Zam Zam, people expect Middle Eastern food, not a random mix. On top of that the music was blasting so loud it felt like a club, not a place to eat. Couldn’t relax, couldn’t even enjoy the food. Overall, the food and the vibe just don’t match the name or expectations. If you want to call yourself Zam Zam, serve real Middle Eastern dishes and keep the atmosphere comfortable

We decided to try their food, but it was an awful experience from the very beginning. Within just 30 seconds, we were appalled when a man came out of the restroom without washing his hands and proceeded to work as a cashier. We could clearly hear the toilet flush, and then, suddenly, the door opened, and he walked out. Before this, I had ordered a chicken shawarma. My friend, disgusted by what we saw, chose not to order anything at all, especially when the man began touching other people's food. To make matters worse, the cooking area was filthy, and the cashier displayed a complete lack of manners and professionalism, showing no respect for the guests. The shawarma itself was unbearably dry, drenched in poorly matched spices, and completely inedible. After just two bites, I couldn’t stomach it any longer and had to give it to the dog.

I'm still shocked at how disastrous this service has been.

Ordered a meal via UberEats. Zam Zam uses their own delivery driver. My partner was outside the home when the driver called and said he left it at the front porch, but we never saw him. We searched the 2 houses north, south, and across the street from us. Nothing. We had a slightly different number listed than our address, but it would have been delivered to the same front door.

So, we called Zam Zam. "Rosie" said she could not "do anything about" it because the driver had "too much to do." We asked why he couldn't swing back around because we're still customers too (and by this time its getting late and waiting for another order by this or another place). She said: "Well next time, don't write the wrong address." We repeated that it wouldn't matter, and she said, "Well, I'm going to take you off the line so I can work with other people."

My partner had to call back and request a refund. She refused to do it immediately -- said she might not get back to it till tomorrow. The restaurant still hasn't closed our order on UberEats, so we can't even resolve our refund through the app. (Can't even rate them yet). It's been over 15 minutes since we called and the restaurant still hasn't closed our order.

We asked for her manager and refused to tell us that person's name or hand the phone over.

It was incredible that we received no help and no apologies. We were instead blamed for the poor service. After being long-time Zam Zam customers, I think this soured us from ever ordering here again.

[note: the owner responded below again blaming us for the wrong address. As I explained - the address we provided would have brought you to the same door. We were waiting at that door and the driver did not come. It was not a problem of the...

Over-Microwaved pita, soggy falafel, soggy tomatoes in Jerusalem Salad, steak tough and chicken dry. I'd submit a photo of what was delivered if I could. With a $10 delivery fee, you'd at least expect it to be on time. It was not. I only gave one star because zero wasn't an option. Gross.

Response from the restaurant: Reply from Zam Zam Middle Eastern Grill August 19, 2018 Hi Our falafel and steak are tested to be the best quality. Regarding 10 dollars delivery, we deliver base on distance. The fat is the customers, the more we charge. 4 dollars is the standard charge and 10 dollars for far areas.

*i will not be ordering again and will make sure that I order from literally ANYWHERE else. The distance from me to your restaurant is less than 4 miles, the delivery fee wasn't my main complaint, it was the pile of soggy mush and overlooked meat that was delivered to me. My dog wouldn't even eat it. Anyone giving you 5 stars is either a fake account or they've never had good...
