Thai milk tea had a roasted undertone but lacked that special taste. The boba itself is bad quality. Overcooked, it seems, swollen so much that it keeps clogging the straw. It had that weird tapwater taste, and the texture was filmy and gummy. Idk how to describe it exactly, but it's too soft on the outside and breaks apart weirdly when chewing.) I would definitely not recommend this place. Honestly could not even make myself finish my drink due to the bad boba. Very disappointing since I had been craving boba tea all day.
At least the service was fast. The ambiance is very bright and the inside decor is trendy. Standard upbeat boba tea place vibes (but with bad boba). Maybe this was just a bad day or the employee making this batch of boba was untrained, but there are enough boba places in the area that I'd rather explore the other places instead of risk another go...
Read moreExcellent location and great boba. Came in on day 4 of opening, so they're definitely still working out the kinks and training their staff. Staff was friendly, by the time my tea was ready there was a line out the door for the afterschool crowd.

The tea is excellent, fresh. I asked for lightly sweet black milk tea, and it was still too sweet for my liking. I will try it with no extra sugar next time. The sugar in the boba is plenty. Tasty, and definitely a great treat.
I walk by it twice a day on my way to Nettelhorst and back. Good thing it's not open at 8am, otherwise I might be getting boba...
Read moreTea is good but you have to be very specific when you order. Examples: Okinawa milk tea is advertised as "brown sugar flavor" and in the photo has brown sugar boba, but does not come with it unless you ask for it specifically as an add on. There was another instance where I asked for a tea with no milk & lemon juice, expecting them to use water to dilute it and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Instead, they used lemon juice to dilute the tea. It tasted purely like lemon juice. On the bright side they remade it free of charge. For the first few weeks after they opened they did everything right, but now it's new staff and they need more guidance from the customers. If you get your order right it is very yummy though and the...
