This place has amazing sushi I totally love it , but I was super disappointed last Saturday 1/4/20 , I was there with a great friend of my mine we talked about great sushi 🍣 at one point though about going to TAO , but I know how good the food is at rollapalooza and also bcuz it’s BYOB, we got there before 10pm , we had 2 bottles of wine with us we order and the As always great great sushi even tho at one point we reminded the waitress about a missing order (oh sorry it takes time to make )her answer to us .. We are cool we know they closed at 11:30pm so we have time to order more , any how the waitress at one point came to our table 11:05 —“we are closing”— (her words) my friend and I just looked at each other “wait what “..? 5 minutes later she came in and drop the check without asking us if we were ready or not RUDE.. what happen with the great serves at rollapalooza, ? It’s one of the reason why the community loves this place it’s bcuz how friendly and welcoming they were .. please don’t take me wrong it’s a Saturday night and I know everyone wants to go but maybe change the time of closing... and I’m sorry you can’t Drop a Check without asking your guess if there anything else they need and wait .... .. I still Tip her 20% even tho she did not deserved it .. let’s all remember the meaning of “TIPS”
T= To I= Insure P=. Proper S=....

On top of this, two waitresses made weird rude comments - one about how hungry we must've been.
At the end of all of this, we really weren't amazed by the sushi, but everything did seem fresh and well enough made. I don't know how much of this was just a one off, but there are too many places we've had better sushi and service in Lakeview to bother...

We had the unagi bento set and it was pretty tasty. There were about 9 pieces of unagi, a rather generous portion indeed. It was cooked nicely, and the sauce tasted authentic. The rice was also done well - sticky, with the right amount of seasoning. Each bite was a delight. The set also came with fruit, edema-me and a salad, so that made for a pretty satisfying meal on the whole.
This place also opens till late, around 11pm I think, so if you're out and about around the area, feeling like having a quick bite, this is a...
