sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Recently we decided to place an order through a thrid party for pick up. However, when we got home and opened the containers, we were shocked to find that two of the three salads were missing both the protein and the rice. The 2 chicken salads have the word chicken in them and it seems as if this would have been a hard item to miss placing on top of the salad.

Naturally, we reached out to the 3rd party who told us to walk back down to the establishment to pick up replacement salads. After having the inconvenience of walking back down to collect the corrected salads which weren't correct, I had to ask how this could happen on multiple occassions with one order. The employee responded with an attitude, as if we were suggesting that they are unintelligent. The dismissive and unprofessional response was unneccessary and disrespectful.

As a customer there is an expecation to have an order prepared correctly but to experience mutliple problems with one order when the establishment was entirely empty was truly unacceptable. It was dishertening to receive the incorrect items and even more frustrating to encounter such a lackluster response from...

TL;DR: Solid fresh food! Orders often inaccurate with delivery through their app. Go inside to order if you wanna make sure you get what you asked for.

I've been waiting for this location to open for quite some time and have eaten here multiple times a week since. The food is what you'd expect from Sweetgreen: fresh ingredients, seasonal favorites, etc. Unfortunately the staff seem a bit...careless? Or maybe they're just new to the job. I've gone inside and ordered, ordered on the app for pickup, and ordered on the app for delivery. When I went inside to order, I made one custom bowl for myself and ordered something as-is from the menu to take home to my partner. Making two bowls at once was tough for the person behind the counter; kept nearly putting ingredients in the wrong bowl. Ordering delivery is worse. For instance, tonight I ordered a custom bowl and what got delivered was missing 3 ingredients, had blue cheese instead of goat, no dressing, no bread. When I first started coming here, I would be served a salad or plate that I could barely finish. I was in heaven! Finally, a place that served adequate portions for the price.

For the past year or so, Sweetgreen Inc. must have caught on, because shrinkflation has certainly taken hold. Not only have prices gone up some, but portions have decreased significantly.

Now, my salad with tip (a new add on to the checkout process which refreshingly wasn't there before), costs 20 bucks and I'm left wondering if it's going to put a dent in my hunger.

Sweetgreen- please stop being greedy. Go back to the version of yourself that made me happy to walk in the door.

**Update: Sweetgreen, I was hoping you'd raise your prices again, and you did not disappoint! The single very leveled scoop of chicken on top of the bed of mostly lettuce made me feel confident that I was making the wrong choice by coming here.
