Iâd been looking forward to trying this cafĂŠ, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The menu leans toward breakfast and lighter lunch fareâthink salads, wraps, soupsâand they also offer smoothies, coffee, and a well-stocked cooler of bottled drinks. Everything is fairly priced and made to order, which I really appreciate.
I had the ham, egg, and cheese sandwich on their homemade sourdough, and it was perfect in every wayâcrispy edges, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of savory. I also tried the peanut butter, almond milk, and date smoothie, which had a great consistencyânot too thick, not too runny, just right.
My friend ordered the breakfast platter and said it hit the spotâclassic American breakfast, done right. Even my dog was happy with a fresh bowl of water brought out without us even asking.
The service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating makes it a comfortable spot whether youâre dining solo, with friends, or bringing your pup along. Definitely a new favorite.
Update: we tried the spinach pie. It was out of this world. So decadent filled with gooey cheese and chopped spinach . The pastry flakes literally melt in your mouth. I got an iced coffee with condensed milk to pair it with and my sister got a Colombian empanada Everything was top tier flavorful the owner answered all my questions about where the coffee came from and how the pastries are made it makes sense why it tastes so good a lot of love put into it. Oh the homemade hot sauce is a...
Read moreA hidden gem in the form of a cafĂŠ. They had a soft opening a couple of months ago. Signs that flapped in the wind, saying OPENING SOON, to OPEN to I checking out the new joint. I'll start by just say WOW, Since I started going, I actually go out of my way and make a trip to CAPRICHOS CAFEĂ, for their Colombian empanada, their ice cream and more. I can go on and on, but iâś actually have an empanada waiting for me to consume. Make sure they give you the sauce that is similar to' a pico-de-gallo.
David , who will more than likely tend to you, enjoys talking about the "farm to table" products they use and sell; for example, their coffee and the multiple flavor of ice creams.
Going to Caprichos CafĂŠ...
Read moreAs soon as I entered the building the server let me know that they didn't have most of items on the menu. I only ordered the açaĂ bowl to go. Although well prepared, the to go container was not appropriate for its content as you can see it in the picture, it was a mess once I got to the beach. And Although tasteful, this is not açaĂ, its more like a blackberry blend (which you can see pieces). I'm sorry but as a Brazilian and açaĂ eater, it's far from authentic. Also, since they put the granola at the bottom, it was all soggy when I ate. The cafĂŠ is cute, and I wish you the best, but I'm probably not...
