If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. First off, every single time I go there something in my order is screwed up. Tonight my family went, I stayed home to work on homework. When they ordered, they ordered me food, but said they wanted to wait to have mine made, (as it was a to go order). Not only did they make it, so I got a cold burger when they got home; but it was made wrong. My daughters stood at the counter to ask for bbq sauce for several minutes being ignored by everyone INCLUDING THE MANAGER GEORGE. They also ordered ice cream, so the employee said they needed to keep the receipt for the ice cream orders. Fast forward 45 minutes when they get home. I open my COLD burger to find mayonnaise on it. Normally I would just scrape it off, as it wouldn’t be worth my time to drive from Saginaw back up there. Since the burger had been made so long ago, it was soggy. I called up there and asked to talk to the manager. The person who answered the phone says twice “braums lake worth can I help you?” When I told him I asked to talk to the manager, he very rudely snaps back I am the manager, I couldn’t understand you. I proceed to tell him the story, and tell him how every time I go there my order is wrong. His response is I can’t do anything without a receipt. I tried to explain that they kept the receipt for the ice cream orders. His only response is I can’t do anything without a receipt. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing, so to clarify I ask him “if I come up there you’re telling me you can’t replace MY BURGER?” He says yes. I drive up there bringing my food, the empty ice cream dish (to show that ice cream was ordered) he proceeds to make eye contact with me, but ignored me for a few minutes. Once he walks up, he doesn’t greet me he just stands there with this disgusted look on his face. I told him who I was , still nothing out of his mouth, like I was talking to a mute. He STILL proceeds to tell me he can’t do anything w/o a receipt.i tell him I don’t have one bc his employees kept it. He then argues with me saying I’d still have one even with ice cream. He then slides a piece of paper over to me to tell me I can call corporate if I have a problem. I told him I used to work in fast food as a teenager, and I know that he could look up tickets, to see the original order, he shakes his head yes, but still says w/o a receipt he’s not doing anything. The employee who had taken the first order comes up, she admits fault TO HIM, and tells him she made the mistake. I then asked him, your employee just admitted fault, are you going to fix it now? He looks at her tells her to fix it and walks back into the kitchen. She’s rings up the order, very apologetic, and I see her slide a card. I asked her if she just paid for my order, and she says yes. HOW IN THE HELL DOES A MANAGER MAKE HIS EMPLOYEES PAY FOR ORDERS THEY MADE A MISTAKE ON? Is this even legal? I told her that that was not okay. I thanked her for telling him it was her fault, but that it was not her job to fix the mistake. She keeps apologizing to me. The whole time that coward of a manger George is hiding in the kitchen. So, not only did o drive 15 minutes back up there for a screwed up order, I paid for that burger 2 times. I went to my car to get cash to pay the girl back. I didn’t feel that it’s even okay for her to have to pay out of pocket for that. He was beyond unprofessional,...
Read moreI am writing to formally express my ongoing dissatisfaction with the level of service and quality I have consistently received at your Lake Worth, Texas restaurant. It seems that with every visit, there is always something wrong with my order, and the behavior of the staff continues to be unacceptable and progressively worse. I am deeply disappointed by the negative experiences I’ve encountered, and I feel compelled to bring this to your attention in hopes that you can address these concerns.
On my most recent visit, I purchased a yogurt and a cheeseburger. When I requested that the yogurt be served in a cup, the employee handed me my order with an unprofessional attitude, stating "OK" in a dismissive tone. To my surprise, the yogurt portion was extremely small, and the employee claimed that the cup size was the reason for this. However, the cup he used was unusually small, which seemed to be an attempt to cover up the fact that the yogurt portion was not consistent with what I have received on previous occasions. I believe this to be a dishonest misrepresentation of your standard portion sizes.
Furthermore, when I inspected my cheeseburger, I was horrified to find that it was soggy and appeared to have been handled improperly. The burger had an imprint of a thumb on it, which gave me the disturbing impression that the employee had purposely mishandled the food. In addition, the burger seemed unusually wet, and while I cannot prove it, it resembled the condition it would have been in had someone spat on it. This is completely unacceptable and extremely unsanitary.
After this, I went inside to speak with the manager on duty, Shelby. While she did offer a refund for my meal, I expressed my concerns that this issue has been recurring, and asked what kind of coaching or training would be provided to prevent these incidents in the future. Unfortunately, she appeared confused and disinterested, and did not offer any clear response or solution to the problem. It was clear that she was not prepared to handle the situation or address my concerns in a professional manner.
I want to be very clear that this experience has left me not only frustrated, but also disgusted. The combination of poor food quality, the snarky attitude of the staff, and the lack of effective management oversight has made me question whether I want to continue frequenting this location at all. To make matters worse, the experience made me physically ill, and I had to leave the establishment feeling nauseous and upset. I ultimately had to dispose of the remaining food I purchased, as I could not bring myself to eat it.
This is not the first time I have had issues with this location, and I feel that my concerns have been ignored far too often. I trust that Braum's values its customers and their feedback, and I hope that this matter will be investigated and addressed accordingly. I would appreciate a response outlining the steps you will take to ensure that these issues do not persist.
Thank you for your attention to...
Read moreVery disappointed tonight. This was our favorite place for burgers since we moved here. But tonight was TERRIBLE. Our fries were cold so I sent them back, I got an attitude about that. Our Chocolate shakes are usually so THICK, but tonight runny as water. Then we opened the burgers and over cooked, cold yuk! They hollar Fries. I go get them again. No salt. I go back to ask for salt. The assistant manager, tells me isn't there some out there? I'm like?? Would I be asking you if there was? Then she told me to go look on the tables for some. omg, I go find salt on another table. Bite into the fries these are stale!!!! We give up! take our food to the counter for a refund. I explain a simple, here you go, here's the receipt we will take a refund. It goes from the assistant manager to a few others back to her. Then I have to wait for change bc I am asked did you pay cash or credit? She is holding the receipt and asking me this question. Cash, I paid cash. During this time I watch a ice cream cone for the drive thru go through 3 hands. None of which that have been washed between money transactions. There are 2 young Females with long dark hair (not in a net but slinging around.) Blue t-shirts no name tags. I watch them exchange something in a celapahe wrapper from one pocket to another. I'm telling all of this to the assistant manager (her name on her badge is not readable but her shirt is very stinky and dingy) She ignores me. Finally gives me the money back. We kept the choc shakes. Oh but, now as we are leaving. I take a drink through the straw and go to spit something out in my hand it's a Nut! I turn to show the assistant manager and ask her if she realizes how dangerous this is. She just shrugged her shoulders and says "well, they are right there beside them". My grandson is allergic to nuts. I ask when will the owner be here? She says there is no owner. We left. With the...
