The barista and register girl gave me the hardest time today. I came at around 5:20-5:30pm to order on half off day (12-6pm). My girlfriend and I have been getting emails about this offer and were excited about it. Once I reached window to pay, the lady with the blue hair was not welcoming and gave me an attitude for asking to scan my half off code. She explained that it would have to be two separate transactions which I understood and told her that I would go inside for the second order since my girlfriendâs app was not loading up. We finally got it loaded up and as I went to scan it, the lady at the register scanned and said that my girlfriendâs code has probably been used already cause it was not popping up on her screen. I explained that this was a brand new account and that there was no way it has been used yet. The offer was sitting on the home menu. Then she says that because itâs new it wonât go through. It doesnât say that anywhere in the terms for the offer. I asked if there were any exceptions that she or a manager can do for one drink! She said no and smiled in a petty manner. It seemed they just wanted to give me a hard time today because I passed on that drink, went to the Starbucks next door and there were 0 issues they gave me the second order there for half off. I understand we have rough days but cmon guys where is the...
Read moreThe cashier was very rude to me. That day my throat was so bad that I couldn't speak to place my order so I used a photo of the coffee I needed, The cashier didn't care about the specification and she spoke to me in a derogatory manner. As a result, the barista was making a cold coffee instead of a hot one, I pointed out the mistake and the cashier (Connie, I think her name was) apologized to the barista, not to me as a customer, loudly saying that that happens order with photo. I felt so offended and sad, for getting this derogatory treatment, without considering my physical limitation. This is the second time that employees who work in Starbucks stores treat me like this, this is at Target in Lakeland and the other at the Marriot hotel...

Apparently this was a very hard concept for them to grasp so they couldn't make it and I settled for a different drink. Then when I tried to pay they refused to accept my $100 bill. Thankfully my husband had a smaller bill. This was all mildly frustrating but then after all this the coffee tasted terrible. My husband described his as "blah" and mine had a strong chemical taste to both me and my husband. (I handed it to him without telling him anything and his reaction was total disgust). Needless to say we will not...
