The Strawberry Matcha is the first bubble tea I've had fresh, and it's totally amazing—I really needed comfort food, and I don't think I could have made a better choice than coming here. The matcha makes for a very complex flavor that is also sweet—but not too sweet. At ~$8.50 all-in for a hearty 24oz, It isn't cheap—but I'd definitely have it again at that price. It's a great treat.

The atmosphere is nice—also comforting, on top of being generally pleasant. There's an echo—so, I guess my only suggestion is the classic "carpets on the walls" lol. It's an issue only for the brief time that you're ordering, and only if you're more than a little hard of hearing (as I am)—to me, it isn't all that significant, but someone with even worse hearing may disagree.

In the interest of full disclosure, and possibly relating to certain readers—there was one other bubble tea I'd had fresh previously; I remembered it while I was writing this review. It was over ten years ago that I had it, at a restaurant that's thousands of miles away from Denver and that I think has traded hands several times since. It was nothing at all like the canned bubble tea I'd later have, let alone the stuff from here—it was terrible! And shockingly more expensive per fluid oz! If you've had bad bubble tea in the past and are avoiding going to a place like this as a result, I think you'd find that you're missing out pretty bad—a proper bubble tea like what these guys will give you is...

Arden Tea Room is hands-down our favorite boba spot in all of Denver—and honestly, nothing else comes close. We’ve been coming here for years, and the quality, consistency, and warmth never fade.

Lisa and Daniel, the owners, are some of the kindest people you’ll meet. Their energy sets the tone for the entire space—it’s welcoming, calm, and full of care. You can feel the love they put into every detail, from the ingredients they use to the customer experience they create.

This is my absolute favorite boba shop in Colorado. This business is family owned, my boyfriend and I have been coming here for over year and in the process we discovered the owners are actually some family's friends of our relatives. We come any where between once a week - several time a week and every interaction has been heartfelt. Lisa is amazing and has remembered our names since day one. While also waiting for drinks we notice they greet their regulars by names when applicable creating such an amazing experience for their customers. I highly highly recommend Arden over any boba shop!
