OMG .. absolutely beautiful and tastes amazing!! The hostess Kimmy ( I hope I spelled her name correctly ) was super friendly, and brought us water and menus. The atmosphere sitting on the patio is such a treat!! We are from Houston and it's blazing hot outside, .. so the cool fres air is beautiful. The coffee is really excellent, .. and when we mentioned that my wife is dairy intolerant, .. they brought her a vegan creamer.. " Nice Touch!!" I had the Huevos over medium with " Christmas Sauce " meaning red and green chili sauce. Both are absolutely delicious, .. but distinctly different from one another. My wife had Salmon Benedict that was really good. . the hollandaise sauce .. I see in the reviews are highly debated .. was very good but needed lemon to be traditional. Ciara our server was lots of fun, .. an excellent server ..but had lots of information about the surrounding area, and places the visit on our next trip. The next trip will absolutely include breakfast at Bread + Salt!!
I highly highly recommend for lots of reasons. .. come and learn what those are...
Read moreI noticed Bread + Salt when I was driving around. The following weekend we decided to try it. I am so glad we did. Everyone who works there is so genuinely friendly. The coffee is awesome. There is a great variety of breakfast dishes to choose from. My husband had the eggs benedict and loved it. I had the two eggs with toast and hashbrowns with the sausage. The sausage was amazing! Great subtle flavor. The hashbrowns were just like i like them - soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The bread for the toast is fresh made (we bought a loaf to take home) and delicious. We also shared some french toast which was really really good. We have been back and will continue to dine here as it is now our favorite breakfast place. Looking forward to trying lunch as they have a Monte Cristo...
Read moreHusband and I enjoyed our food. I had the truffle scramble which was served with hash browns and toast. The blueberry jam and scramble were delicious! My husband had the chilaquiles and definitely recommends.
Notice a number of reviews mention prices being high, but personally we didn’t find them off. I have come to anticipate spending a little more for taste, quality ingredients, and environment. Food costs and thus prices to consumer are rising everywhere. Definitely see similar prices at some of the popular spots in other areas in the metro area.
Service was also exceptional-staff was attentive without “hovering”. Can’t wait to go back as there were multiple things I’d...
