Brown Sugar Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Lakewood

Ordered Chicken Pad Thai here at 8 pm To-Go along with other things. I received just that, chicken and pad Thai noodles. Absolutely no soy sauce, fish sauce, cilantro, lime, pepper flakes, garlic or anything that would even resemble the flavors of what pad Thai is. It looks as if they just boiled noodles and threw some chicken in the box. I have eaten at lots of Thai places all over the country, and this is by far the Thai equivalent of spaghetti noodles served with ketchup on top and called Italian. Hopefully this was an off day, to their credit the other dishes we ordered seemed to be pleasant to those who got them. Whoever allowed this dish to leave this establishment and be paid for needs to be reprimanded. I may have lost 11 bucks on inedible noodles and flavorless noodles but the company (including all of the sister brands) have lost my faith in execution. There are other options out there and even in Boston...

We stumbled on to this restaurant when we failed to find the one we we're looking for. But we were hungry and willing to take a chance. We walked in and got a genuine very warm welcome from Jason. (He was so nice, we asked his name.). He was so friendly and helped me decide what to order. I got Seafood Madness and can't imagine there was anything I'd have enjoyed more. The Crab Rangoon was the best I've ever had and the soup was superb. I really didn't know that a simple soup could be that good. Also, the food was beautiful and fresh. Our meals took less time to prepare than it did for us to figure out what to order. I also had a mango bubble tea-- it was delicious. I live an hour away but I will be back. My son would probably have liked a larger portion (we ordered from the lunch menu) but I was completely satisfied as it was. ...

Right now, they are only offering take out. They also deliver through multiple delivery apps. Such as Uber Eats or Door Dash, just those two, for example. Have been eating here for years. Wonderful customer service is also fantastic food. They can modify most food to make it spicier or less spicy. Next time I go, I will take a picture 📸 lol of my food. I usually be ready to eat, but that way, the picture can speak for themselves. Highly recommend this place. There's a parking garage for free. I believe..also theres shops across the street. You could park at either. I usually park across the street and walk over. Wonderful Thai restaurant, there's also one in Rocky River, same name.
