Falafel Xpress -- FX Vegetarian — Restaurant in Lakewood

Great greek food in Lakewood! I use to live right around the block from this place and went here so much that they started to know the staples to my order before I even walked in the door... Its a small business right by Marcs and Chipotle. They have a couple tables to sit and eat but generally, I always got takeout. The workers were nice and funny! Some classic things to try here include: the chicken shawarma, regular gyro, chicken gyro, hummus, and grape leaves. There is always one thing from each restaurant or food place in general that I could eat forever. From here, it would be grape leaves. It depends on the type of grapes leaves that you like. I know some places serve them warm, some serve them cold. This place serves them cold and the lemon rice is perfection inside. Also, their tzatziki sauce is really good to put on either types of gyros....

WORTH THE MONEY. We came here today for our 3rd time at Falafel Xpress. Normally I get the buffalo chicken bowl which is pretty good, but today there was a special on the steak and cheese rice bowl so I decided to give it a try. The only modification was I had them add a sriracha sauce drizzle on top. THIS IS THE BEST FOOD IN ALL OF LAKEWOOD. I HIGHLY recommend you come here and try this out.

Beyond the absolute flavor of the dish, the other things I like about this place is that they are never too busy, the owner is always there, and the portion sizes are good. We’ve never left hungry. my wife and I stopped in too get a bite too eat ...upon entering the restaurant the cashier young girl had headphones in her ears and did not say anything to me nor did she greet me until i just stood there in line for about 3mins..when she did acknowledge me she took one earpiece out of her ear and rolled her eyes like she didn't want to take my order...when she gave me the total she said it in a very low voice so that I could barely hear her she seemed racist because my wife and i are black...i told her forget my order im going some where else...she had dark black hair maybe around 18 or so on her phone very Bad Attitude!!!! Avoid this place at all cost..i will be calling...
