Sure, the food is still good. But the flies will buzz around your head and land on your great food. We went there at the 11 am opening time. The front doors were wide open, which is nice, but the flies come right in. The floor was covered with food from the previous day. The tables had food particles from the evening prior. And, these were stacks of dirty dishes from the previous day. No wonder why the flies were so happy. Amid all this unsanitary environment was a Tacoma-Pierce County Inspection report posted that said GREAT. Yes, great for the flies and food poisoning. We have gone to Long Beach for many years and remember the time when the food was even better and you were greeted with a carafe of cold water with lime slices floating on top. Now, you are lucky to get a glass of water before the food arrives. The lady never washed her hands and was more concerned with watering the plants than attempting to clean the area. So, the food does look good. But are you willing to take that gamble? I have always found that if the dining area and rest rooms are clean, the kitchen is usually also clean. Online ordering was an utter failure. Glitched 3 times trying to order then on the 4th it said I succeeded but when I got to the restaurant they said nothing was ordered so I waited outside in the parking lot for 25 minutes.

The food was worth it though! Loved their pad thai, their fried egg rolls are so-so, their chicken tum kha was not to my taste but my mother loved it, and my brother's pad see ew was good (which I have never liked before). Absolutely delicious korean beef bbq!

The cafe is not clean. The table cloths all had stains and under the glass top (which was chipped on the corner) of our table had hair, not from the head. There are so many things hanging from the ceiling and around the room collecting dust. All the surfaces in the bathroom were very dirty, handles, light switch, etc. The food was being heated by the microwave (audible beeping) and was not good (no real decernable flavor), rice was crunchy and the drinking water tasted like dish water. Service was almost non existent with our server being on her phone behind the counter rather than checking in on the 3 tables waiting for assistance. My fault for staying beyond the water but I had hope things would get better that was quickly dashed. There is potential but it isn't being realized and that's too bad.
