Emerald City Smoothie — Restaurant in Lakewood

I come here regularly for a post-workout shake and last night the shake was made incorrectly. It tasted nothing like the way it normally does and had a weird artificial sweetener taste. The store was closed by the time that I got home and tasted the shake so I was unable to call or go back. I go into the store today and ask for the shake to be remade or to get a refund. The 2 workers immediately have an attitude and say no to the remake or the refund. They said the shake has to be brought back the same day to receive a remake or a refund. I clearly wasn’t able to do that in this instance and as a regular customer, who will not be returning, I expected a better resolution. Keep the $9 I guess. Hope it was worth the 1-star review. I’m not sure if it’s the person making the bowls or if it’s just the training however, the Chia Bowl I received today was not hitting the way that I expected.I asked for peanut butter, I never got peanut butter added into my bowl but I paid for it. Didn’t notice all of this until I got home to eat it. I also asked for extra ginger to supplement the Chia seeds, didn’t tasted a lick of ginger and the Bowl itself is made up mostly of ice and fruit. When I first started coming I was not experiencing this which has been over a year now, I noticed last year the bowls weren’t hitting like they were. I’m hoping that there will be some improvement. I stopped coming quite frequently simply because of what I am experiencing today. Nobody likes to have a bowl full of ice cubes with fruit . The employees there are completely not on the same team, I don’t recommend this location to anyone. I typically come into this location in the mid day, and everytime i order a drink and ask for a small, they tell me they have two sizes paying 7.80 plus a tip for a drink is ok for a 24 oz, however when they go to charge you that much for a small 12 or 16 oz it’s not worth the money or the tip. When I came back in and realized the size for the price is not what I asked for they then wanted to charge me another 8$ for the drink. I should have taken my tip back if I wasn’t a changed person I probably would have left my drink and taken the whole tip jar for there unprofessional responses.

If anyone goes off of reviews I would not recommend this location or at least this time shift to anyone. I completely...
