Update 02/2024: We revisited this location and were delighted with the experience. I think this new location just needed some time to settle in. Loved my Mortadella pie! 🍕 2023 review: As a long time patron of their Bainbridge spot, I was very excited when I heard the announcement of the Lakewood location, since I moved to Lakewood two years ago. We ordered a couple rounds of drinks. They were good, but there is room for improvement. We ordered the strawberry salad, very delicious! And then we ordered my favorite pie, the Mortadella. It was good, but there's just something missing. The new place just seems to have something missing in the secret sauce. I do look forward to returning to see if they get things sorted out. Growing pains perhaps? 🤷‍♂️ Lastly, I hope they continue to work on the decor. We felt the place was too dark and the minimalistic design was just too cold and uninviting. I truly wish them all the best. I so want this place to succeed. 🙂

Wow! The food and drinks were amazing! We had the Brat Burger and it had an incredibly unique and delicious favor. We also shared the dry aged meatballs and the sauce reminded me of my mothers! For drinks we had the #27 and a pumpkin Espresso martini and they were incredibly well balanced and matched exactly what I was looking for. The service was even better. The bartender Tom was attentive and I never had a moment where a drink wasn’t in my hand or my water wasn’t topped off. We ended up meeting the GM, Madison, the night we were in and to say he runs a tight ship is an understatement! We will absolutely be back and this place has made our anniversary memorable.

Crumb and Spigot in Lakewood is the latest dining sensation, and trust me, you'll kick yourself if you don't try their speck pizza – it's that good! Our evening started off at the bar, and the service was impeccable, setting a friendly and welcoming tone for the night. The handcrafted cocktails were spot on, and the chocolate bread pudding was a sweet ending to our meal. What really made our night was their cozy front booth – perfect for a larger group celebration. I'm already looking forward to returning to Crumb and Spigot for more unforgettable experiences.

The place in Lakewood is very nice, service impeccable, the food is really good but i didn't give 5 stars on that because several COOKED things were just pounded with raw garlic which isn't effected or as described on the menu.

I want to give the best part of the review here since I'm a bit critical later. The fancy drink menu idea lands perfectly. I'm not snobby enough to know if all of it was regional drinks but the ones i knew celebrated different places and were great. 10 stars on the alcohol execution here, i cannot remember the pricing though that may be because that part of the menu obscured or simply because our party was 6 and we just combined to one check. Either way, whatever the charges were, worth it for the experience.

Onto the food menu, if you subscribe to that OLD fad from pre-COVID times: tiny menu, few options, we know what's best for you/TV CHEF lead thing... Then this is absolutely the place for you. If you like even a small variety of food options that include something standard fair for those of us who are normies and just like what we like, you may not have a great time.

To defend it, the options there were mostly really good, what they do they mostly nail better than most places tbh. The menu is just so limited that my advice is make sure your entire party looks up the menu and actually wants something.

I appreciate they don't do that other stupid things places did back then for a while of not listing prices, but when i saw they wanted ~$20 for a burger it served only to ignite hilarious table conversation for a good 15 minutes. I'm sorry, in Northeast Ohio, there's nothing that can be done to make a burger worth that in reality (setting aside bs stuff people add to artificially raise the price). What's odd to that end is MOST of the other options are perfectly priced.

So i don't know if there maybe was a different owner to start and someone with a sense has been improving things, or the other way around, but on the whole they are doing well with minor missteps and minor blindspots to us regular folk.

Let me stress, aside from an inability to cook garlic when it should be cooked, and an inability to portion said pungent components with balance, everything else ranged from good to...

Great meal and very good service! It was a tad slow of a start to the service but honestly, could just be our impatience because my boyfriend and I were starving when we showed up. There was no wait at 7:30pm on a Friday night and got sat right away. I bought three glasses of wine, my boyfriend got one n/a cocktail (which was $12). That price point was a little high for a nonalcoholic beverage. The only other thing on the menu that was pricey was the oyster app. It was $16 for 2 oysters. They did come shucked and heated with a breadcrumbs/lemon topping. Everything else was fantastic though! I got the wedge salad with the spinach pizza. My boyfriend got the bar steak. My wedge was very well dressed and had a unique twist to the salad and the pizza had a nice char with great toppings. The star of the show was the steak! Hats off to the chefs in the kitchen because they cooked the steak perfectly. I was a tad skeptical to order that because it was the only “high end” item on the menu but they executed it very well. I’m in no rush to come back just because we enjoy trying new places but this was a great first visit and I will have no problem coming back to this location...

We went here for a date night dinner. It was very hit and miss. The menu composition was interesting, they have a couple pub options, some entree options, and an array of pizzas. The atmosphere was nice, it wasn’t too loud and the interior is pretty with wonderful mood lighting. The service was a bit slower than I would expect but not awful.

I ordered the spaghetti squash and sweet potato fries on the side. The spaghetti squash lacked sauce, I do not recommend getting it at all. The sweet potatoes fries were incredible, I would highly recommend getting them. My boyfriend got the Brat burger which comes with “potato salad” and slaw. The potato salad was just cold potatoes. The slaw was just raw cabbage. The burger though was again excellent and I would recommend the burger itself.

I’ve never experienced a dining experience where some things were so great and some were bad. Usually it’s either wonderful or mid. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from going here but I would definitely ask your server what’s menu items are good, since it seems there is not much consistency. In my opinion they really need to just add...
