Used to go 2-3x a week just to hang out with my buddy Dave. Do karaoke & have fun. Last time I was there a bartender named Kate was unbelievably rude for no reason whatsoever. First she overcharged me by a $1 for a non-alcoholic beer. The same non-alcoholic beer I get every time I walk in that place seeing as I haven't drank in 16 years. I asked if she was sure about the price due to the fact that her & I had literally had the same conversation about it maybe a month before. She overcharged me by a dollar then. I asked if she was sure, she checked the list on the wall & what do you know? $4.50 not $5.50. Not this time. She said she'd absolutely sure & I say okay. I pay. I tip before I leave & I come back about an hour later. I order another non-alcoholic beer. I go up to sing a song & I come back to the bar 5 ft from where I was sitting & my beers gone. I asked if someone mistakenly took it. She says no, she thought I left & threw it away. I responded & said, "no, I hadn't finished it." It was more than half full & I was standing damn near next to it singing very loudly. She looks at me & tells me I don't need to be rude. I was shocked. I said, "I just said I wasnt finished with it." I wasn't even upset until she started pointing fingers at me accusing me of being rude after she overcharged me for a non-alcoholic beer, then threw it away over half full when I was standing right next to it. It was bizarre to say the least. She reluctantly offered me another one & I said no thanks. I left. Probably won't go back & it really sucks that my buddy & I have to now either find somewhere else to meet or sing karaoke. Liked that place a lot. Georgia was so so so nice & the KJ is super cool. Can't remember her name but it's a really cool lil spot if it weren't for unnecessary rudeness towards it's customers. My buddy texts me tonight & said, "Kate's working, no go?" & I said yep. No go sir. It really is too bad that we have to find somewhere else to go because 1 bartender has a bad day & takes it out...
Read moreThe Flite room is one of my favorite places to go when I am boozing with my next door neighbor. I have been here about 5 times and as it is a little it of a hike for me, it is for sure my kind of place.
So let's talk about all the things you can do after you have had a few stuff drinks lol.
For arcade games, They have 2012 golden tee live and silver strike live and they have a Austin Powers pinball game which is super neato wowza baby!!!!
Next to the the pinball game is an old school cigarette vending machine. Not sure why this machine seems cool but it is there and I love it. Maybe it reminds me of the fact that I quit smoking a few years ago and that makes me smile.
There's two people tables in here and there is also a fireplace. There are some video poker type machines on the bar and of course a jukebox.
The drinks are cheap and the people are cool. Whats...
Read moreI met my wife here! It was my first time going to a bar and she claimed me. Through the years we always came back to this bar, I would sing karaoke and she would drink and socialize. She knows the owner that passed away, and the bar was sold. We like the new bar owner but the prices have increased and aren't regular among the bartenders, some will charge $16 for a pitcher of beer and others will charge $19. The bar has heavily invested in revamping it's looks, from our charming Dive Bar it has transformed into a mock airport lounge. That's fine on its own but it's drawn a crowd so my nights of there being 12 people signed up for Karaoke have inflated to 28 people and I only get to sing once or twice per night. It's a great place for a party, but for a relaxing drink with friends I think the atmosphere...
