Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Lakewood

My family has been frequenting this Freddy's location since it opened. We will not be going back after tonight. We sat at the drive through window for over 20 minutes tonight after the girl working the drive through handed our food to the car in front of us, took our money for it, and proceeded to not remake it. Cars were honking and revving their engines in line. After a while, she asked if we ever got any food. We told her no. She, and the other young employees, went back to flirting with each other instead of working to solve the problem. We could even hear them through the window joking around about how they didn't want to be at work or how cute the girls thought one of the boys was. The man acting as manager finally came to the window, and it took a few tries to figure out which order was even ours, since it had been cashed out already. We wait while they remake the food. They hand us the food. They do not hand us our drink. We have to go inside to get the drink. We are given a larger cup and free custard coupons. We check the food to see if it looks right, but there are multiple burgers and we, not knowing what all the orders we had requested looked like, assumed they were all correct. They were not. Upon arrival home, every burger is somehow messed up. We called to inform the manager that this had happened, and while he has promised free food in the future, I no longer trust this establishment. I have given this location many chances, where we let their small problems slide, but after sitting at the drive through window for over 20 minutes with a line of other angry customers behind us, only to not get what we ordered, I think we...

The food is amazing. But the customer service is a 1 star. The cashier with fake long eye lashes and a fake ponytail was so rude. While she was taking my order she literally picked up a pen and started coloring her hand. Clearly she didn’t want to be there. Then we ate and decided we wanted the custard. Placing our order for ice cream was easy and a different cashier. But when we asked for a lid for the ice cream. That’s when the attitude came in from the original cashier. I asked for a lid and she just stared at me and said which one. I said the one for the concrete. And then she had the worst attitude when she said “well what size do you need!?” And rolled her eyes. Sorry but isn’t that your job to ask me the size?! She gave me the lid, and then she walked away and began texting on her phone. It wasn’t the right size so I asked another lady if she could give me the right size and she was happy to. The thing I don’t understand is these employees know that they need to provide customer service and they are the ones that applied for the job. So don’t be mad at the world that you work at Freddy’s! Go fold clothes at a department store with that rude attitude Also there wasn’t an adult insight and don’t look at the floor where the food is being made. It’s disgusting, food everywhere and trash. I definitely won’t be back and that sucks because the food...

This place was delicious the first few times I ate it. Since then I haven't gone here any more. It's expensive, the food tastes cheap and the service is no bueno.

I ordered here last time. I get a bacon cheeseburger and a chili cheese dog. The fries and the ice they put in your drink are to die for. 😉 The concrete slabs of ice cream are most excellent too.

When you order they make it while you wait in the drive through. Which is cool to me, I love the fresh hot food I pay for. The wait is long, sometimes too long, by the time you get to the window your hot food is now cold because they gather faster than they give it out.

The service is mediocre at best or unless they see a Latino in front of them maybe their attitudes differ from another person. That is another gripe for another day.

The food was ok when I got home. The meat was under cooked. I can't eat raw food, I'm not a savage! Cook my dang food! The hotdog is just a dog with chili and cheese and delicious onions. We wait for the food, it should come cooked not half ass. Food is expensive on families, and I feel Freddy's just shows up and don't put the effort in anymore. So they get 3 stars 🤩 today from me. May your experience be more pleasant than mine was....
