When we first moved to Lakewood 17 years ago, we tried Roman Fountain and it was not good. We recently (within the last year) decided we would give them another try because we were tired of the chains. It was really good. Something had changed...maybe it was us maybe it was them...no one knows for sure. Food is hot and of good quality. However...we recently got a pizza from here and the meat on the pizza (chicken) was so overcooked that it was rubbery! Yuck! We took off the toppings and ate the pizza as a cheese pizza instead of what we originally ordered. This was the first time we tried this particular meat (chicken)so we obviously will not be getting that again. Otherwise, we will order again from here. Keep in mind they are little on the pricey side but worth the extra $$$. Btw...they have really good...

As a long time Lakewood resident, Roman Fountain became our home's go-to pizza place as their pizza, wings, and appetizers were always excellent and the quality was always consistient. We moved to the east side two years ago and have had trouble finding a place that makes both extraordinary pizza AND wings AND sides. Today I was in Lakewood taking care of some business and decided to pick up some boneless wings for lunch and they were spectacular as always. Read moreTheir pizza could win contests nationwide...it's that good. Their specialty pizzas are really good and not the norm. Their crust is perfect, not too doughy or chewy...think really good bakery bread...only crusty....yum! Toppings are generous, but not overdone. I've had their parmesan hot sandwiches as well, which I enjoyed...but my favorite is their pizza. Salads are fresh and plentiful. All in all one of the best pizza experiences around....and the good news, they don't over bake their pizzas like some of the "chain" stores do. Awesome....try it,...
