We have been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile (pre COVID). My cousin told me about the delicious cheesesteak egg rolls she is addicted to from this place. Yesterday we finally were able to go and it did not disappoint. Restaurant is small with seating available and limited menu. We ordered honey old bay wings - OMG they were amazing. Crispy on the outside, meat tender juicy on the inside. Of course we ordered the egg rolls (pictured) and they were very good (wings my favorite). I liked the white sauce that came with the egg rolls, unique and flavorful. Also ordered the steak hibachi, fried flounder with fries (pictured), fried shrimp with fries, Rasta pasta with chicken. Everything came out hot and so delicious. Plenty on the plate. We took some home. Loved the music playing (some Luther Vandross and other oldies but goodies). Staff I believe are family and they all were so polite, professional, smiles. Place was very clean, hand sanitizer available. We definitely will be back. Perfect spot to come spend time celebrating a birthday that day, family in from Ohio, and just being together period. Pricing comparable with other establishments, but most importantly the food was excellent, atmosphere great, place clean.

This was my first visit here - the food was very good, however there were a lot of other things that made this only 3 stars! The main concern is that it takes so long for the food to be ready. I read a lot of reviews saying the same thing, so I decided to come when it wasn't busy, but the food still took long. It took about 30 minutes for two items, and there was only one other person in the restaurant. Other than this, the place is a little unclean, there were no napkins in the napkin holders, and I didn't see any trash cans in the restaurant (and they use disposable products). And prices are a bit high in general. But the food is very good. I got the po boy sandwich, and it was delicious. Finally, there aren't many healthy options available - it's mostly fried food. I do wish they had some healthier options! I believe the restaurant is only run by one or two people, who manage the entire place. I think they're just short staffed!

I was visiting Lancaster city with my sisters and we came across this spot. I noticed the outside and thought it was like a smoke shop or clothing shop inside. To my surprise it was a food spot when I stepped inside. The atmosphere was pretty chill and I liked how the inside looked and felt. It looked like they were pretty busy with only 2 cooks when we ordered, then down to 1 cook since the other cook may have been getting off. We ordered a good amount of food to-go and waited over an hour and a half. I personally only enjoyed the shrimp from the shrimp hibachi the most. Everything else was too salty to me. That's what my sisters were complaining about too. The lobster po' boy sandwich was mostly breading. The fries were ok. My sister got the fried fish and she didn't like it. My brother in law said his salmon hibachi was good. Other than that, would I try this place again? Hmmm probably not. But I believe it will become a well known spot!

First and foremost for the cheese steak egg rolls and the lemonade , they were good pricey but good .I drove 45 minutes to visit this establishment I had no other reason to be in Lancaster . Visited this place with a friend asked her if she wanted to ride for some food after hearing about Spicekings from pennlive. When we arrived in this place there were plenty of people waiting on their food, there were also many children who some we would come to find out later were the family of the owners they were caring for while also running their already busy business. 45minutes after waiting on our food that we ordered we requested to have our appetizers because at this point we’re really hungry now. If you’re going to make someone wait 2 hours for food at least give them their appetizers to hold them over while they wait. People get really angry when they’re hungry . After about an hour the same people including me and my friend still did not receive our food and there wasn’t anyone leaving with the food they ordered but others were still coming in to place orders. We paid for the food when we placed the order and that is the kicker. We decided that we didn’t want to wait any longer for the food after seeing the cook aka (owner eating while preparing orders) we’re starving while he’s eating the food he’s supposed to be preparing for his customers (very unprofessional)I kindly walked up to the counter to let the owner know that we would like a refund for the food that we didn’t get yet . He rudely told me that he wasn’t issuing me a refund because I needed to wait patiently because there were others ahead of me ,now mind you I was already there an hour and 45 minutes, and only seen 1 person leave with food as I was walking in. Paid $60 for chicken fries and rice Hibachi is what the menu called it , the fact that he had 2 cooks (including himself)and a room fully of hungry people was his problem not mine because he decided to openly run a food establishment. Needless to say after complaining he whipped up our order with sarcasm and we left . The prices are not listed on the menu (pricey ) and the wait time is outrageous I will not be...

It's a shame you have to give them one star in order to rate them. My husband and I wanted to try something new and are very much into supporting local businesses.

Last Friday we went to this restaurant spent about 30 minutes in line to order food because calling ahead was not an option. We wanted to order some surf and turf fries and some egg rolls which come highly recommended unfortunately we were told they were out of egg rolls so we ordered something else as all their food looked great.

We ordered our food at about 7:00 p.m. and were told right away it would be about an hour before food was ready so my husband and I ran a couple of errands and came back exactly an hour later. After my husband sat there for an additional hour inside the restaurant waiting for our food he finally gave up.

We were trying to be very patient but when they started handing out samples of egg rolls after telling us they were out that was a little disheartening. Another thing that was a little off was that they came out about 40 minutes before we physically laughed and said they were just waiting on shrimp for one of our meals and anyone who knows about shrimp knows it doesn't take 40 minutes to cook shrimp still my gasses they were out and had someone run to the store to get shrimp.

After about 2 and a 1/2 total hours from ordering time my husband gave in and requested a refund and the gentleman that came down to help with the refined was kind enough to offer for us to come back the next day and get our food for freeAnd informed my husband he could not figure out how to use or load receipt paper so he never got a receipt for his refund. After watching for the refund in his checking account we then realized they only refunded us for the food they did not actually refund the 18% tip we left. How kind to keep money that does not belong to you.

Super thankful we got a majority of our money back because as my husband was waiting to get his refund he definitely saw one of the employees messing around with a trash can lid on the floor and then returned to the grill with the same exact gloves so it was probably a...

I’ll explain why only 1 star and that was because the music was good.. outside of that, terrible experience all the way around. I ordered my food at 5:09, but had already been standing there waiting for my order to be taken for atleast 25 mins, their menu isn’t that big to have to look over what I wanted. There was only the owner and his mom in the kitchen, both had acknowledged that I was there waiting and continued to work orders (fine, I’ve worked food industry in a busy pizza shop so I understand that sometimes it can be busy and you want to catch up on the orders you already have before you take anymore) but after I ordered, once again @ 5:09 I didn’t receive any food till 7:00 on the dot. Just to be told that half of my order wasn’t available anymore because they ran out. Which is unprofessional to hand someone their food and then say “oh we ran out of the cheesesteak egg rolls, but here you go with the rest” absolutely not. I ordered 2 things, egg rolls and the hibachi platter. The poor platter wasn’t even hot. The rice was over cooked, the salmon was like no salmon I’ve ever tasted before (and not in a good way) the broccoli was hard as a rock. All I can say is, NEVER AGAIN.

To make matters worse, a customer who ordered after me asked for a refund, the owner straight up told her no. She explained that she had been waiting a hour and half for her food and she wasn’t waiting any longer, so she asked again for a refund and the owner said “no I’m not giving you a refund everybody has to wait over a hour, you have people in here that have been waiting longer than you!” As if any of that is okay. He then proceeded to hand her, her food and then said “see I had to hand you your food in front of all these other people still waiting for theirs” which what does that say about the people waiting? It made no sense.

I’m all for supporting black businesses, but the owner definitely needs to tighten up. I have no idea what the hell he was doing for 2 hours for my food to come out cold and not worth the...
