What a cute little shop! The girl working the front was so kind! We ordered a pizza and paid for our ice cream in advance! Our pizza came out hot and cheesy! It was delish! I thought the crust taste a little like saltines… hmm. The ice cream was good however, in my mind you can’t give them credit for that as they buy it from a manufacturer. Fun, upbeat environment that thrives on its ice cream based roots. We came for their vegetarian friendly food. My egg salad sandwich was excellent! I ordered it with the suggested toppings of lettuce, provolone, tomatoes, onions, olive oil sauce on super soft whole wheat bread. Surprisingly great combo! My companions throughly enjoyed their taco pizza as well. Service for the food was a little slow, but the care that was given to our fresh made food was well worth it. Mostly came for the ice cream (Chocolate Shoppe ice cream gets me every time). We ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza first, and it was really great! My husband was pumped that pickles were on the side, not the pizza. It was delicious and baked really well. Crispy thin crust. Then we got the ice cream, and Chocolate Shoppe never disappoints.
