Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Lansing Charter Township

This is my experience at 2824 E Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48912, location. I ordered through the little Caesars app and have to be honest, I was a little nervous. I was thrilled that it gave me the option to pick up my order in the drive thru since I was placing a large order for some co-workers and myself. I ordered 2 pepperoni crazy puffs, 3 cheese crazy puffs, 1 deep dish 3 meat pizza, 1 bag of crazy bread with sauce, 1 bag of crazy bread without sauce, 3 garlic butter sauces and 3 ranch. I arrived at the location about 3 minutes before my scheduled time so I parked in a parking space as not to hold up the drive thru line. Right on time, I received a push notification saying my order was ready and head to the drive thru. I was a little hesitant since there is a sign posted on the side of the building that says "Drive thru Hot n Ready only" but I proceeded and just thought if they make me get out of line and go to the counter, no big deal....I saw the sign. When I approached the window, I explained I ordered on the app, without any hesitation the young man at the window asked for the name on the order. He located all of my items in the warmers, counted all the sauces and double checked the order before handing me everything through the window. He was very courteous and professional. I also observed him and another gentleman killing it in the back. I mean these guys were moving as fast as 2 humans can move working around hot ovens and food. It was lunch time and they were slammed. But they handled the pressure with smiles on their faces. They could teach a thing or two to the crew that works at the DeWitt location. I had so many bad experiences there that I haven't gone back in over a year. I hope the manager at this location reads this review and acknowledges these 2 for their hard work. It gives me no pleasure to leave such a bad review, but unfortunately this location has earned it. I arrived at 4:30 PM on a Friday. Pulled up to the drive-thru window behind two other cars. They both drove away within a few minutes - with no food. This seemed strange, and should have served as a warning... I pulled up to the window, and was greeted after waiting for a minute or two. I ordered three Hot & ready pizzas. They said okay, gave me the total (about 25 bucks), and I paid. THEN - once they had already taken my money - the person who took my order said "okay, that will be about 25 to 30 minutes". Wait, What? I ordered 'Hot & Ready' pizzas! The sign on the side of the building specifically says what hours this is available (I was within that time frame) and that the window was ONLY for Hot & ready orders.. So I asked why that was, and got a non-answer: I could either pull around the building and park in the lot and wait, or leave and come back. So I left and came back 25 minutes later. Pulled into the drive-thru lane and proceeded to wait for yet another 25 minutes behind 3 other cars. The person who handed me the pizza was friendly and polite. My pizza was warm, and tasted fine (its Little Caesar's Pizza; if prepped and cooked properly it always tastes the same) I don't appreciate the 'bait and switch' - if hot and ready pizzas aren't hot and ready.. TELL PEOPLE THAT WHEN THEY ORDER! I absolutely would have just gone home and ordered from another pizza place with better food and faster service (which would be ANY of them!) Total time for 3 Hot & "ready" pizzas? 65 minutes. Anything more than 10 is outrageous.. Lesson learned, I won't be back! I went to order pizza two days ago I was having a rough day and just wanted to get home and relax. I was first disappointed when I went in to order and the front counter guy wasn’t very friendly but anyways ordered they told me 30 minutes okay. I went back in 40 this time through the drive through hoping it would be quick,Get home and they have given me the wrong pizza I ordered two pepperoni extra cheese and pepperoni cheese bread I received two cheese and awful burnt cheese bread(Didn’t get a pic ) I live close so no problem drove right back to explain this time a girl came to the window I explained that this wasn’t my order the guy came to the window I picked the pizza up from I explained again(Nicely)He acknowledged me and that he gave me the pizza. I waited only for him to come back 10 minutes later with what I thought was my correct order (NO) get home and sure enough it’s the wrong order Again horrible flat hard cheese pizza and I pulled one piece apart before returning what I thought would be discarded (Only to receive not only a horrible two boxes of pizza but my same Two boxes I brought back)waste of money and time NEVER going back...
