We make the 90-min drive just to come here! Most delicious mom and pop deli around! Today, we had the Reuben (which is limited daily quantities) and also the daily special, a HUGE Honey Mustard salad. Fantastic! 99.9% of items are made in house and it tastes like it! Amazing bread, dressings, kraut, soups, mac&cheese, slaw, pasta salad...the list goes on. The time, effort and love they put into their food shows! The only drawback is limited hours and no advance notice of closures. We always call to make sure they're open. We LOVE this place! 😍

We wanted a good sandwich, not a chain-store variety. This was easy to find, had good try, and a menu everyone could like. Located in an historic building in downtown Laramie Wyoming, and we even could eat outside on picnic tables. My Reuben sandwich was excellent! Wonderful marbled rye bread, thick, warm, melty Swiss cheese!!! My husband enjoyed BLT, also on marbled rye, lots of good bacon. He had a great potato salad, and I loved my green salad. Highly recommend!

We were staying the night in Laramie and wanted supper somewhere with a local flavor. 2nd Street Deli was a great choice. Our sandwiches were excellent. The chicken and bacon on my club were obviously hot off the grill. I chose the potato salad as my side which was a red potato salad that was very good. The students (guys) taking and serving our order were attentive and courteous. We had a great experience.

I've been to 2nd Street Deli twice now, and both times, I have been fully satisfied! I've had their Grilled Chicken Club on Gluten Free bread and their Chicken Salad on Gluten Free bread - got the potato salad both times, and everything has been SO delicious. Even the pickle is massive and has a bit of heat to it - just something different and tasty. They toast the bread perfectly, the ingredients are so fresh, and their personal touches to the sauces/spreads make the sandwhiches filling and harmonious. The man who runs the place, or at least who's taking orders, is so nice, friendly, and efficient. Also, I think I just had the best arnold-palmer of my life - pretty sure they make their own lemonade. The atmosphere inside is open and chill. People are just enjoying their time there, and you get a different view of downtown Laramie sitting at the window bar seats. It's so nice to have a delicious lunch in town that's worth the price in customer service and food quality. Great, locally-owned...

Visited on the Sat after Thanksgiving... Holy, Moly were they busy!! I know now why!! Macaroni and cheese (added bacon, yum!!) Was a show stopper!! Absolutely delicious!! Salads were worth every dollar and I never think that... Sandwich wasn't our favorite, but still good. Even though they were busy, totally worth the wait!! Love the open kitchen so you can see how hard they're working... it increases patience!! One complaint... PLEASE get a heater for inside the door!! Everytime it opened (again, busy!!) it froze us out!! Still, highly recommend!!! Absolutely worth...
