Lin's Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Laredo

Well for starters the place is outdated and run down a bit. I went to get a bowl for soup and it looked like the dish washer quit after unloading the "washed" bowls. They were literally just piled up and thrown in the container. The soy sauce and Sriracha were so sour it ruined the entire plate and since I put Sriracha in the soup it obviously ruined that. I got a new plate and avoided those 2 things and it was much better. My waiter was great. Very attentive. Red hat, red Pumas. Didn't catch his name. Funny thing is that it was a 4 star worthy experience until I went outside. I work for an equipment company so I had a trailer attached to my truck. When I walked out I had a guy walk up to me, I was thinking he was going to ask for money because his shirt was filthy and he had on a reflective vest over it that was falling apart. He asked if i spoke spanish and I said no. He proceeded to tell me to go park somewhere else because I was blocking traffic. I said I was leaving and he walked off signaling to oncoming customers that I was an idiot and shouldn't be parked there. I mean, your lot is half empty and possibly because your food isn't that great. I guess its customary to run off the people that just brought their money to your business. AVOID THIS PLACE ITS NOT WORTH THE $20 PRICE...

This place was the worst chinese buffet I've ever been to. Four lanes for food, only 2 were completely functional. Mislabeled food. You have no real idea if what you're eating. Everything looked thrown together. I was confused about what I was eating, so I stuck to vegetables. Corn, broccoli, and fried potatoes were my only options. There was sauce for sweet and sour chicken, but I didn't see the chicken or shrimp it was supposed to go with. The lo mein looked like curry fettuccine noodles... Maybe I wouldn't have had a problem if they charged $8.99. However the cost is $15. I'm not sure how this place was so packed. Maybe this is the best they've seen. But it wouldn't survive anywhere else for $15. There are so many options at other buffets that charge this rate. I've never taken the time to write a comment ever. I'm a truck driver and have been to lots of buffets across the world. Sorry Lin, but you should do better by...

Was not worth the almost $36 for 2. Called 2 days in a row was told they have Crab Legs on the buffet and guess what they lied. The sweet tea taste like lemon aide with a hint of tea. The food was not all that good either. It was kinda bland and the only good food they had came from the hibachi. They say they have Ribeye Steak but none was out to be cooked. My husband and i are truck drivers and travel all 48 states and eat Chinese food often and i have to say this is one of the worst. Hubby even said we never going back to this one and to make a note of it since im the one that keeps track of that. Stay away save your money on better cheaper Chinese food. If i could have i would have got my money back just on the fact they lied 2 days in a row about the Crab Legs but you dont pay when you leave you pay when you walk in the door before you even get to see what is on the...
