I visited Wendy's to try their new, breakfast menu. I purchased their new Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant sandwich and Large Seasoned Potatoes. To start, their coffee tastes what I imagine hot dish water would taste like; no discernable coffee aroma and absolutely NO coffee tastes. Perhaps it was a bad batch our maybe Stella hasn't gotten her groove back but it was horrid. I'd rather drink the dish water. Next up, the Large Seasoned Potatoes; now these were great! The potatoes are thick and lightly battered with just the right amount of seasoning; they are a Must Have item. For the star of the show, I made a point of tasting each part of the Maple Bacon Chicken Sandwich item by itself then, the sandwich as a whole. The Maple part is a glaze on the Croissant, which is square and about the size of a biscuit. The croissant is visually appealing, with many layers and a good taste. It's not as buttery or light and flaky the Burger King Croissant but rather, has a more substantial and doughy texture to it. Burger King's Croissant beats it hands down. As for the bacon, is bacony; enough said. The chicken breast was substantial and good. It's not Chick-fil-A but, it doesn't have to be, with a definite Southern taste. Overall, the meal is good, and deserves a try. Next time I'll try their biscuit sandwich or Breakfast Baconator. A good effort from Wendy's to get back in the...
Read moreI’m writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with the consistent issues at your Wendy’s location on San Bernardo in Laredo, Texas. What should be a quick and reliable experience has become an ongoing headache—this marks the fifth day in a row that something has gone wrong at this store.
Here’s a breakdown of what I’ve encountered: • Day 1: The store was out of sodas. • Day 2: The system was down due to updates, and no orders could be processed. • Day 3: Once again, no sodas were available. • Day 4: Shockingly, there were no burgers, no chicken, no Frostys, and the staff could only offer limited menu items. • Today (Day 5): The store is not accepting credit or debit cards. While I was in the drive-thru attempting to place an order through the app (because like most people, I don’t carry cash), I was rudely told by an employee that I needed to move. There was no one behind me, and instead of showing patience or offering a solution, the employee was unhelpful and dismissive.
This level of service is not only unacceptable, it’s damaging to your brand. I’ve always chosen Wendy’s for the quality and consistency, but this location fails to deliver either.
I hope this message prompts a serious review of this store’s operations, staffing, and inventory management. Customers...
Read moreIf I could give this location a zero I would horrible horrible and disgusting. From the Manger to the lazy and unprofessional staff. If a customer is speak and ordering in English you respond in English first of all. Then the soda machine was crusty and sticky with old soda and dust accumulated then the the sodas were with old any fizz like they need to change the pump or change the soda because both that I tried didn't taste right. The entire lobby was dirty and full of trash too. To top it off the manager was rude and aggressive when you confront her with issue she was dismissive and not concerned with the fact that her store was very poor quality. I seriously love Wendy's but this location was definitely not up to par and needs to be shut down. I'm a native of Laredo and it's depressing to see such poor quality and standards of a corporate company. Change owners or management or your going to fail at everything with this restaurant.. Oh the food was also stale and old so I'm trying to be politically correct and state facts and...
