I will update this each order and can give you an idea of what to expect.
Regret. I went against my better judgment and decided to buy anyways. Resulted in me getting to enjoy grease-soaked, undercooked, doughy, limp pizza and diarrhea. Of course I ate some as had already paid for it, but ended up throwing away the remaining half. *I added a star as the past few times bought here were decent.
Edit: I still didn't learn my lesson.
Edit 2: Ordered extra cheese, parmesan romano (extra), 3-cheese blend (extra). What did I get? Normal cheese + a sprinkling of the other 2. It is the typical of not worth the time/hassle of having it be corrected, so you just accept it and be disappointed.
Edit 3: Bumped up to 3 stars. A normal experience of nothing being wrong.
Edit 4: Back to 2 stars. Somehow made it a limp noodle and overcooked the crust at the same time. They forgot my cool ranch dipping sauce, which I was highly looking forward to. Called and the manager said he'd credit a free pizza to my account. He did not honor his word.
Edit 5: I've since ordered 5 more times: 2 were good, 1 was average, 1 was decent but kinda lacking, 1 was subpar. I bumped rating back up to 3 stars. From the many times I keep coming back, overall it's relatively good with a decent possibility of being bad. Usually the bad experiences are what's remembered or commented about, so here to say overall it's worth getting. This will be my last edit and a good overall for you to make your own decision.
Edit 6: Well, I'm back again from multiple orders. This really will be my last as part of New Year's resolution is to stop getting fast food ((future me, if I come back to edit again, I am a failure of a person)). After so many orders I've came to the realization that if you order a normal pizza, 70% of the time it will come out normally. If you get cheese in the crust, 70% of the time it will be floppy. It's not even worth it as the company watered down the cheese so it doesn't even taste normal and sometimes can even blend in with the crust, which is cheap too and intentionally made to run through you, filled with sugar, etc. Get Domino's for actual decent quality ingredients. That's for the company, the store itself is decent. The drivers were always nice, don't jip out on tipping them.
TLDR: It's decent food. Don't order cheese in the crust as you'll be disappointed and it'll be floppy (even at Well Done). Domino's has better quality ingredients. Tip...

-Ordered online, my order came without any sauces - even though i added in the DRIVER INSTRUCTION to include it. Every time I order breadsticks they always forget to include sauces. -I stopped the driver to ask about the sauces, and he acted like he didn't speak english, mumbled something and kept walking. -I called the location (and not about the driver), because my pizza and breadsticks were completely incorrect. I should've checked that before the driver left-not that he would've done anything about it. -The kid who answered acted like he couldn't hear me. He passed the phone to a young lady without telling me to hold, or that he was transferring me to anyone. She hopped on, confirmed my address - and said what I had was what i ordered. I told her that the receipts on the outside of the boxes and the food inside the boxes are two different animals. They advised it would take an hour to come back out with the correct order. The lady was rude and short and I made her repeat herself every time she decided to cut me off. This is not the first time my order has been completely wrong - but this is the first time I called because something may be incorrect within their system to continuously get my orders wrong. I can count on one FINGER how many times my order has been right and i've been living here for years. I'm only writing a review because the child on the phone was rude. Writing reviews doesn't change much with regards to employment in this location BUT I CAN AT LEAST TELL YOU TO NOT VISIT THE PAPA JOHNS IN LAKE ARBOR!
UPDATE: DUDE CAME BACK WITH THE WRONG FOOD YET...
Read moreThe pizza was delivered quickly to my hotel room. The quality of the pizza was the same as every other Papa John's pizza I've ever eaten.... very good. Sure, it's not as good as the mom-and-pop pizzeria, but it's WAY better than Domino's or Pizza Hut!!
I ordered at 6:52pm and the pizza arrived less than 30 minutes later. Excellent service!
I don't understand all of the negative reviews of this Papa John's location.
One review complained because the Postmates driver was late! Don't blame Papa John's because your Postmates driver was late. Why didn't you use Papa John's deliver driver in the first place???
Another bad review complained that the driver couldn't find the customer's location on Google maps. Hey... did you know that you can login to your Google account and update the location of your house (or any other location)??? You can fix it! Google will respond (usually takes a month of two), and Google will update the location!!!
Lots of 3-star reviews because Papa John's pizza isn't the best pizza you've ever tasted. OK... but if you want the BEST pizza... you wouldn't have ordered from Papa John's in the first place! When I lived in Florida, the best pizza was Valentino's in Titusville. When I lived in New Hampshire, the best pizza was Nik and Charlie's. But, I don't live near those places anymore... and the best pizza NEAR ME is......
