I ordered online and prepaid for my order. I arrived a few mins before the estimated time and waited my turn. A black male in front of me was given an order and he left. I gave my name for my order but they couldn't find it. I accessed my email and read off my order and said there is no order number. The lady went to the back & couldn't find my order. She then walked outside and came back in and checked the back again. Meanwhile the man came back in and said he received the wrong order and gave the name and was given his correct food and the lady put the wrong bag to the side The lady then came back to me and got my name and tried to give me the same bag of food he left the building with and took to his car. In what universe is that safe and sanitary? Btw, I'm also black. I asked to cancel my order because I dont want food that another customer has already left the building with. They offered to make a new order but at this point they cannot be trusted. That should have been offered in the beginning. Then I was told to go back online to cancel my order as if now it's left up to me and I created the issue. There is no option to cancel order in my email or the website. So I was told to cancel with my credit card company. I sat down and called my card company, miraculously the lady was able to cancel while I was waiting on the phone. I still told my card company what happened and have 48 hours to wait to confirm. I don't feel this is good business. It is very easy to confirm names before handing off bags of food. It also cost zero dollars to treat others how you would want to be treated. It didn't take them 48 hours to receive my payment. I should not have had to jump through hoops to cancel. If they so willingly pass out food thats been taken outside the establishment to others what other short cuts are they taking behind the scenes? Or maybe this was because I'm a black customer. Perhaps my black dollars dont matter. I only have this experience to...
Read moreAs multiple reviews have stated prior (I wish I would've read them prior to my last outing), the food is good but the customer service is atrocious and after approximately a decade of supporting their establishment, I will not be returning.
I noticed the lower standard of customer service prior to this experience but this last one put the nail in the coffin for me.
In summary: I attempted to call (as I was driving) in a togo order x3 to no answer I had to order in person where I mentioned their failure to answer the call and the following happened:
Overall, food is good (nothing extraordinary and I happily found a replacement nearby) but the service is the absolute worst. So buy at...
Read moreThe food here is amazing, and we have enjoyed eating there for years. But recently, the standards of service and cleanliness have dropped to an alarming low. We were served hot water instead of tea(still charged for tea even after bringing it to their attention twice). We were served dirty bowls with our soup. When they brought clean bowls, we noticed that the soup dish had hair on it. When we told our server, she took the soup(no apology). She never came back with new soup, and when we asked if it was coming, she said her manager "made her" remove the charge from our check so we would not be getting any soup unless we ordered more. We hadn't even spoken with the manager yet. She seemed so hostile, we didn't order more. When our server refilled our water, she poured some into our curry. We told her she was pouring it into our food, and she shrugged an apology and walked away. We were charged full price for everything, minus the hairy soup that was never replaced. We spoke with a manager on our way out. He said he was sorry and one of the servers was new. I don't feel like anything was resolved, or that they value our business. Not sure we'll...
