I am typically not a fan of chain restaurants, but my wife and I went to BJ's to try their famed pizookie. A pizookie is advertised as a pizza-cookie, a cookie baked in a deep dish and served with ice cream on top. We initially ordered a pizookie trio, which includes three mini pizookies for about $11. However, our awesome server, Frances (Frankie), informed us they were running a pizookie special. A regular sized pizookie typically costs around $7, but with the special, pizookies were only $3. So, Frankie pointed out that we could get three regular sized pizookies for $9 instead of three mini pizzookies for $11. We appreciated Frankie's suggestion and heeded her advice. Thus, we ordered three regular sized pizookies: (1) peanut butter with chocolate ice cream; (2) brownie with vanilla ice cream; and (3) white chocolate macadamia nut with vanilla ice cream. Frankie recommended we have chocolate ice cream with the peanut butter pizookie because the combination of flavors is similar to a Reese's Pieces. I agree with her assessment, but was disappointed in the pizookie. The peanut butter pizookie was overcooked, which made the cookie hard and the burnt edges overpower any peanut butter flavor. The chocolate ice cream was also lacking in flavor. The brownie pizookie was decent. It was soft, gooey, and chocolatey. In addition to the ice cream, it came with whip cream and a cherry. The white chocolate macadamia nut pizookie was our favorite. The pizookie was crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. We could taste the white chocolate and the macadamia nut. The ice cream on this pizookie was also the only ice cream that did not melt, which made the dish more enjoyable. Overall, a pizookie is a fun dish and is a great deal at the special price of $3. However, the "deep dish" is not deep. Rather, it is about one quarter of an inch. So, whereas I was expecting a thick cookie, I felt it was too thin to enjoy as a solo dessert. I would not pay the full price for a pizookie. On the positive end, Frankie is one the best servers I have had in a long time. She is helpful, upbeat, friendly, and super sweet. While she was serving us, she was also serving a table next to us, which included a few difficult guests. Frankie impressed me because she maintained her composure and demeanor throughout the meal. I also really like the BJ's App. By signing up for the rewards program, you qualify for a free pizookie without any other requirements. The App's interface is extremely user friendly and allows you to place some orders and pay your bill, which a huge advantage at a busy chain restaurant. ALL-STAR PERSON: Frances (Frankie). ALL-STAR DEAL: $3 Pizookie (special price). ALL-STAR FEATURE: BJ's App.

My boyfriend and I come to BJ’s every Sunday, and we always look forward to seeing Brandi. She is, without a doubt, the heart of our experience every week. She’s the kind of server who makes you feel like more than just another table—she remembers our orders, checks in at just the right times, and is genuinely kind every time we see her. Her service is always thoughtful, and she never misses a detail. You can tell she cares about her work and about people, and that’s what makes the experience so special. We always leave feeling taken care of and in a better mood. She’s a true gem, and a big reason why BJ’s has become part of our Sunday routine. We also want to give a shoutout to CT, who is an exceptional bartender and always delivers drinks with both precision and personality. His energy behind the bar, combined with Brandi’s care and professionalism, creates the perfect team dynamic that makes the experience so enjoyable. You can count on them to keep the bar running smoothly. And of course, we can’t leave out the food and drinks that keep us coming back! The Big Twist Pretzel is always a must to start, and the Build Your Own Tavern-Cut Pizza never disappoints. We love ending our meal with the Strawberry Shortcake Pizookie. The margaritas are perfectly balanced, the prickly pear lemonade is so refreshing, and the hard root beer is a sweet treat we look forward to. BJ’s does a great job at combining comfort, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere that we truly appreciate.

We’ve been coming to the BJ’s near Downtown Summerlin for a while, and service has usually been solid — until today. We showed up around 3pm and placed a simple order: corndogs for my son, avocado rolls for my wife, and a burger for me (asked for medium well). The burger came out raw inside. No big deal — these things happen. Our server was friendly and offered a salad while they remade it. Then the manager showed up with the replacement burger and asked me to cut it myself to check if it was cooked properly. That’s not how it works. It’s the kitchen’s job to check quality, not the guest’s. I opened it — still raw. I told her I didn’t want it anymore, and she just walked away. No apology. No ownership. And we never saw her again. To top it off, the second salad came out full of lettuce hearts — clearly no quality check there either. This wasn’t just a kitchen mistake — it was a leadership issue. When a manager can’t take accountability or even offer a basic apology, that reflects badly on the whole place. Disappointing.

Prepare to be swept away on an extravagant culinary odyssey at BJ's Brew House! As a visitor from the UK, the anticipation was met with a fantastic reception from a waiter whose service was nothing short of exceptional, setting the stage for an evening of unparalleled indulgence.

The menu unfolded like a gastronomic epic, revealing the day's opulent offer—half-priced starters. Opting for the mac and cheese balls, each bite was a symphony of textures: an exquisitely crispy exterior giving way to an interior of Mac and cheese so rich and flavorsome that it was akin to biting into a decadent piece of heaven, a creamy explosion leaving an indelible mark on the palate.

Accompanying this culinary marvel was a pint of Piranha IPA, priced at a modest 5 dollars, yet delivering a taste that transcended the ordinary— an interstellar journey for the senses. The mains, my pasta and meatballs, and my partner's veggie burger, marked an unprecedented experience in the States with no room for critique—a testament to the culinary prowess.

This wasn't just a meal; it was a grandiose affair of opulence, boasting a price tag that belied the extravagance on the plate. BJ's Brew House stands as a beacon of indulgence, where top-tier food quality and impeccable service converge for an unforgettable experience. Unapologetically lavish, BJ's Brew House commands attention and admiration, earning an unequivocal 10/10—a gastronomic voyage that transcends the ordinary and is, undeniably, worth...
