Yesterday I took my family out to chilis which happens to be one of our favorite out to eat spots. We order our food and drink with our waitress. About 20 minutes go by and we havenāt gotten our apts yet which is fine. My husband orders another drink with our waitress and asks about the appetizers and she tells us she will check and leaves. She never comes back and more time goes by and the table behind us who arrived 10-15 minutes after us gets their food already. More time goes by and someone comes with our entrees and we ask about our appetizers again. She goes to get them and brings it to our table and mentions that the food is hot so be careful. but when we bite into our food it was cold like it had been sitting in the window for quite some time. But whatever we were just too hungry to care about it. Our original waitresss never comes back to check on us btw. At the end of our meal we look at our check before paying and notice our bill was almost 100$ and we only ordered around 40$ worth of food. A 3rd waitress comes over to check on is and we explain to her our bill and everything we ordered and she leaves to fix it (she was nice). she came back and told is that she fixed our bill. We took her word for it and paid and even tipped more than we should have. After paying my husband looks at the receipt and notices that we were still overcharged for our soups. I go over to our original waitress and she ignores me so i flag down a 4th waitress and explain to her whats going on and she tells is she will get a manager. She come back abt 5 min later with a 10$ gift card which was less than the anount we were overcharged and we ask her if she can refund is the amount we were overcharged. The manager didnāt even come out to apologize to us or even acknowledge us. Overall...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'll preface this with the fact that our waiter told us they had recently had a big turn over. However...
Just walking in, the hostess seemed pretty grumpy. We got seated and put in our orders relatively quickly and got our drinks and chips. That's when the real problems began.
We didn't see anyone for upwards of 20-30 minutes. By the time anyone came around, everything was empty. The waiter came back around and told us he would get all of our refills and told us our food would be out soon.
About 15 minutes later, some of the food came out... the kids meals were all warm/ cold. They forgot to bring out one of the sides. There was no cheese on the burger.
The manager came out to apologize at this point, saying that she would take the burger off the total. I thanked her and waited about another 10 minutes before my burger (that just needed cheese on it) finally came back out. The bun was super soggy and everyone else was done eating, so I just wanted to eat really quick and get out as it was starting to get late.
Ultimately, we had to deal with a screwed up bill on top of all of this.
A few added things, my wife watched someone in the kitchen touching food without gloves. We also weren't the only ones that had everything screwed up. All the tables around us had jacked up stuff as well.
In the end, ymmv as, once they're back to fully manned, they may bounce back. But with all of my negative experiences with chili's in Las Vegas, me and my family won't be returning to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe front young lady was nice :) and we had Martino as our server. At first, he was really nice. We know he did put ribeyes. But when we got our order, it was wrong, instead of getting 2 ribeyes, they gave us one sirloin. We had no problem with it; we just wanted to let them know and didnāt know the exact price. We just didnāt want to be charged incorrectly.
The manager on duty (Lance) came to check our orders and insisted it was a ribeye based on what he was seeing, just because I gave my husband a piece of mine (ribeye) for comparison. And my husband looooves steak, so he definitely knows. Lol.
Martino came back and asked how we were. I just told him again, with a smiley face, that everything was fine and that I just didnāt want to be charged wrong (without actually knowing the price). He mumbled, āItās not much of a difference in price.ā It was just a 70-cent difference, but thatās not the point! For us, itās about WHAT WE WANT TO EAT⦠hahahaha.
It was just terrible service in the end. They didnāt even apologize for giving us the wrong order. Itās crazy that itās my birthday and this exact location was where we wanted to eat, because weāve had several dates here already š¤ but anyways I hope next time its not like this cause...
