Horrible experience just trying to get seated by sarcastic hostess with terrible customer service skills. I took my elderly, handicapped mother here in her wheelchair and after entering the hostess asked us how many. After telling her "2", I also explained that we would like a table (pointing to the wheelchair) so my mom could stay in her chair at the table. The hostess then asked me if a 1/2 table, 1/2 booth was ok and I told her that we preferred a regular table. The hostess then said that it'd be a minute. I responded with, that's ok, it's going to take me longer than that to get my mom situated and take her to the restroom. The hostess responded with "that's not my problem, you can argue with your server about that" Shockingly surprised at what I heard and then hearing her mumble something else, I walked a little closer to the hostess and asked her if she said something else sarcastic at which time she snapped "get out of my face".
I then decided to take my mom to the restroom and thought I would talk to a manager about this horrific exchange when just trying to get seated after we were done. On the way to the restroom, a server greeted us in a very friendly manner and asked how our day was going. I told her it'd was good but would be better if we could just get seated without such an attitude. The server was very apologetic after I told her what happened. I asked her to speak to a manager when we were done in the restroom and she said no problem, she would get the manager for us.
After finishing in the restroom, I looked around the restaurant for the manager or the friendly server and no one was to be found except Ms. Sarcastic Hostess. I then decided that this bad experience probably wasn't going to get better so decided to leave and go eat at another restaurant.
When we had arrived, we were the only ones in the entry area waiting to be seated and the restaurant had about 5 total tables seated so clearly it wasn't too busy on a Monday afternoon at almost 2 pm.
When we were trying to leave the restaurant, the entry way suddenly became very busy with probably about 10 people waiting to be seated and the sarcastic hostess was just standing at the hostess stand, not seating anyone.
After leaving and getting to another restaurant, a major inconvenience with someone in a wheelchair, I decided to call the restaurant and talk to the manager about what happened. I was told when I called that the manager was cooking but she would have her call me when she's done. I thanked her and gave her my name and phone number. As of the date of this review, 4 days later, I still have not received a call back.
I still cannot believe a huge national restaurant chain would employ someone like this hostess, the 1st point of contact for their customers. Her horrible people skills was astonishing and I never plan to return to this location based on this experience and how the management has refused to even talk to me about it, yet rectify the problem employing such a sarcastic and...
Read moreThis place has just bumped up to one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time! My husband placed an order for a wing pack (45$), we had never tried them and were kinda excited about smoked wings. Walking into the curbside area it was down right dirty, with a wonderful view of the messy area where your food is being prepared. I stood there way longer than I should've to get the order, nothing felt welcoming or cared for, sauces dripping down kitchen wall, unatentive workers, it really seemed a mess. I get home with the wings and they are wrong. The cold soggy fries we were fine with, but the two flavors we didn't order which no one liked was enough to called the store right away to see if they could make the ones we ordered and I'd bring back the wrong ones. The boy on the phone was unhelpful and rude, pretending to be the manager. So I decided to drive back to the store after the attitude of the boy on the phone and turns out he wasn't the manager. Toni was actually the manager on duty that night, comes out to help me. I tell her we tried to fix this easy over the phone but the boy's aditude was unexcepible and now I'm here with all the food we ordered brought back. She said I could expect a full refund to my card in 1-3 business days. It has been the holidays so I gave it a bit longer.... It's dec 26 still nothing.. call store again and talk to another person today, another manager. We spent over 30 min trying to figure out why the money hasn't been returned or even track down the ticket for it with my order number. Nothing it just disappeared... Now I have to wait till Monday to call flipping corporate....gerrr I feel like they disappeared the ticket from the system and pocketed my Money. All I know is 44.98$ is still not in my account and after returning the food and not receiving squat! This whole thing has been a nightmare... Let's see how the corporate call goes, fingers crossed 🤞 I just want my dang money back it shouldn't be this hard. I'll update you all with the conculsion of this, and hopefully my story saves you the headache! Update 2/16/22 we still have not received our refund. We have still not received any calls or concern from this business, they plain don't care. How does a company not respond to complaint like this? Beware they will Blatantly steal your money and...
Read moreSo, we came here to celebrate our son’s birthday. The first couple times our waiter came he was fast and attentive. Then it went downhill from there. For only having 3 tables in the section, the food took awhile and someone else besides our waiter brought it out. And our waiter wasn’t around much after that. Maybe he assumed a table of adults and kids didn’t need as much attention? He did check on us but after that, the dishes had to piled at the end of the table and no one picked them up. Literally no one. Even the bus boy walked by with a dish bin and walked right by..lol I wish I had taken a picture of all our dishes. Frank’s ran empty, boxes for leftovers where nowhere in site. A table across the way had a birthday and they sung them a birthday song and my son was getting excited to have them sing to him, as this would have been the first time at a restaurant for his birthday. He chose Chilis as his birthday dinner and he was so excited. The waiter finally came back, all our dishes still there and I even said,” the birthday boy would like his dessert.” Now my son has his birthday gear on and we brought a giant balloon the size of two turkeys with us, so you couldn’t miss it. I’m guessing birthday desserts aren’t a thing anymore, since he didn’t get one, and that’s ok. But the kitchen brought out his dessert and walked off. So, we sang him happy birthday and moved on. Our dishes still weren’t picked up and the wait for the dessert was ssssooooo long seeing there was only 2 other tables in the whole side of the restaurant. I completely understand being busy and as a former waitress I never judge for that. But he had 3 tables in his section and the service became slower than a sloth crossing the road. I know my child probably didn’t care as much since we all celebrated his birthday and sang. But it was just the point. The fact that the dishes were only cleared in front of us because we did it, then they sat, then out of drinks, then waiting so long for ice cream. I am not sure we will be back and I’m sure in the grand scheme for Chilis it wouldn’t matter. But it would be nice when you go out and especially as a special occasion, that the service be just a little better. I’m just disappointed because I wanted my son, who picked Chilis for his birthday dinner, to be good and it was just...
